So someone called off for tonight, and we need an aide to fill in. I am already working 8 hours. Next pay period I have something like 12/14 days. And some 12 hour shifts. So god forbid that I don't want to stay tonight. And the other girl I am working with is like NO. I WON'T DO IT. FUCK EM. And I am like why can't you do it? Do you have plans? No, she just doesn't want to. Well guess what, I am not going to fucking do it just because you're pansy ass doesn't want to. I've done it so many times and I am sick of being the only one who will. Unless I get mandated, I fucking refuse. And she's saying the same thing. So basically, no matter what happens, someone is going to be pissed off.

But once I start doing over so many hours, it all goes to taxes. Sad day. Hopefully I'll get a nice return, though. =] I am not normally one to bitch about pulling some extra weight. But when I seem to be one of the very few of us willing to do it, it just gets old. I have too much coming up, I will need my rest. I got 4 hours of sleep. And I've been having anxiety attacks on and off all day. and with the schedule i have coming up, there will be no time for fun i am only doing this to pay bills, pay legal fees, and get nice christmas gifts for my family. and of course, afford some party favors. hehe. so hopefully sometime down the road things will slow down and i can actually enjoy the money i am making.

We can do that so we don't go to the next tax bracket. If you don't know it would be something to look into
I mean my whole shift I am running around the building. I don't have time to sit down. Sometimes I don't even get my breaks. I lift a lot. I turn heavy people and don't get me started on the behaviors I deal with. It's hard on the back, the feet, and the mind. I have a shifted pelvis and the discs in my back are really messed up. So my nerves get pinched and my muscles get strained a lot. This makes a lot of the work I do... excruciating. Two people told me today that I am probably the hardest working employee there. Made me feel good, but at the same time, it pisses me off.
I hate doing 12-hour shifts. It's not bad if it's just one day, and the rest of the week I do my normal 8 hours... but when I have to fill in for someone on vacation, I start getting a little crazy by the end of the week. I drive an hour to get to work, so a 12-hour shift takes up 14 hours of my day. Subtract 8 hours of sleep, and I've got two hours for school work and cooking/preparing food. Fuck that! Can't complain about that O/T money though... you won't be complaining next paycheck.
Put that shit into a 401k man. I hated seeing so much of my money going towards taxes, so I started putting 10% in a 401k account (that's 10% taken out BEFORE taxes). So you're saving more money (granted, you can't use it for a while) plus you get put on a lower tax bracket. edit: my bad, too stoned I thought I hit "edit," apparently not...
