I am sick and tired of hypocrites...

  1. Hypocrites... one of the main things Jesus taught, was to not be a hypocrite. I am so godly sick and tired of all YOU "unbelievers" or whatever out there who think they know God... it sickens me.

You all think you have a good idea of what and who God is, yet you do not read the Bible... what kind of bullshit is that? "God is gay... fuck God... Why doesn't God do this and that?"

If you actually WANT to KNOW God, then take sometime to go into "the desert of your mind". Don't ask how to do you get there.... you'll find it. It's in your head. Take 30 mins out of you life for once, go to your room, lock it, let everything be silent, crack open that ancient book, and read. And possibly smoke some weed so your more open-minded/opinionated.

Don't ask blind questions, like "Why doesn't God come down and teach us and prove to us He exists." You dumb fuck, don't question Almighty God. Who are you to question Him?

I'm just pissed off right now, so I apologize. Look around you, and look at yourself. Do you not see others (and yourself) doing and asking things like this?

God is a merciful God who understands and empathizes with. He isn't stupid when your best friend dies. Not like God goes, "Oh... opps.... oh well....". I'm not saying everyone is like this. Again, if you truly want to know God...

"Go into the desert of your mind." It is God's Spirit that talks to you there. He will meet you there if you make the effort to see Him yourself. Can't you see? Why should God Almighty make an effort to help you if you can't try yourself?

Sorry if I'm preaching... I just get these "holy angers".

I wrote this like two months ago:

    Ok,

The God of the Bible is nothing like any other god you've ever heard. The god you heard in Sunday School (whether Catholic or Protestant) is a lie. Because, if it was truth, you would be a "believer". Whatever you've heard from people or from church is a lie. Let me explain. The God of the Bible is nothing you've ever thought of. He is the Super Nova. If you read the Old Testament, you will discover a God unheard of. He is not a conceivable being. We are limited, He isn't.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.

The Word is Jesus. All denominations in Christianity deny the diety of Christ but Protestant. Jesus Christ is God. You want to know God's true Name? His name isn't God. His Name is this: I Am. Yes, that is the Almighty's Name. His Name describes His nature: Everlasting Supreme Being. God "wasn't" or "will". God "is". God doesn't change. Throughout the Bible, God has spoken literal words to you, and here they are:

Do not even start asking why doesn't God do the things we would like Him to do, like come show the world the way. You do not know what your getting yourself into. If you TRULY want to know, you will find it in His book, the Bible. Jesus Christ, Who is God, said, "I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.". Do you know what that means? Jesus is the Way to God, Salvation, Heaven, and Bliss. Jesus is the Truth. You find all His actions just and right. Did Jesus ever do anything wrong? Jesus is the Life because He gives Life to ANYONE who asks. Jesus doesn't ask you to go to Church. CHURCH will NOT SAVE YOU! God (Jesus) looks at your heart and judges your heart, not your deeds. If you are a evil, wicked person on the inside, He will cast you to Hell where you belong. If you are a good person, He will judge your heart, and see if your deeds justify you. Jesus was a friend of sinners! Jesus made water in wine. Jesus went to parties. Yes, Jesus was a "party animal". Jesus drank so much wine, people started calling Jesus a drunk. he wasn't though. Go watch the Passion of the Christ and judge for yourself if Jesus was a lunatic who loved all for who they are. Plain and simple. Jesus and God are not hard to comprehend. Grab a New King James version of the Bible. Read John. Read it again. Then read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I will end this with this:

    The Transfiguration of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas:contacts" /><st1:Sn w:st="on">Christ</st1:Sn>

Now about six to eight days later <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Jesus</st1:GivenName> took <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Peter</st1:GivenName>, <st1:GivenName w:st="on">James</st1:GivenName>, and <st1:GivenName w:st="on">John</st1:GivenName> his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves to pray. But <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Peter</st1:GivenName> and those with him were heavy with sleep; and when they were fully awake, they saw <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Jesus</st1:GivenName> praying. And as <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Jesus</st1:GivenName> was praying, He transfigured before them. His face was altered and shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light, shining, and glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them. And behold, <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Moses</st1:GivenName> and <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Elijah</st1:GivenName> appeared in glory and spoke of <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Jesus</st1:GivenName> decease which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem</ST2:p. Then <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Peter</st1:GivenName> answered and said to <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Jesus</st1:GivenName>, "Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Moses</st1:GivenName>, and one for <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Elijah</st1:GivenName>." -- because he did not know what to say, for they were greatly afraid. While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the cloud. And suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!" And when the voice had ceased, the disciples fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Jesus</st1:GivenName> came and touched them and said, "Arise, and do not be afraid." When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Jesus</st1:GivenName> only.<O:p

Now as they came down from the mountain, <st1:GivenName w:st="on">Jesus</st1:GivenName> commanded them, saying, "Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead." So they kept thisword to themselves and told no one in those days any of the things they had seen.

  2. dude, i read the bible, and i still think god doesnt exist so i respect your opinion to think the opposite please believe alot of us know what we are talking about

    peace

    jeff

  3. Yup...sirus...don't call us ignorat because we don't believe in god...and what's that about hypocrists??? I didn't get that one lol...

I've had a strict catholic upbringing, but somewhere the bible didn't provide me with answers any more...I still think it's a good book, morally speaking...but that's all...and believe me, I've read it...most of it...

  4. I'm sorry, but all those quotes make me think of fortunte cookies. Or some kind of game God might play when your having 'relationship problems', hiding notes around the house that say those things.

But seriously sirus_felwyn@ho, as much as I like those excerpts from the bible, I think your anger and frustration severely hamper your message. Also, you're judging people. Which the bible says is bad. You need to stop, mmmkay?

  5. Congratulations buddy...

  6. i think of the bible only as a guide as to how to better ones self, and even then some parts of the bible just don't make common sense...........ie the plagues, if gods so loving and forgiving then why?

i'm still waiting for anyone to prove to me that the bible is real, now we all know how chinese whispers work, even over 10 people the truth can be distorted, how can we be expected to beleive that over thousands of years the text is exactly the same and wasn't atered to benefit anyone/someone, whatever their motives?

i say be guided by it's knowledge as you would an elder, but don't live your entire life by it.

    Peace out.............Sid

  7. With all the knowledge you appear to have, you should know that everyone has hippocrisy in them. Some more than others, but even you do at times.

  8. MOST CHRISTIANS HUH? INTERESTIN

  9. :) I second that.

  10. Damn Kind of harsh. I like how you knock his beliefs around and assert your as superior. I espically love the sterotypes, which totally take away anything your post actually had to say.

The thing i find funny is this: Everyone, and i mean everyone, has some sort of belief system. Be is Christian, agnostic, athiest, jewdism, islam, buddhist, etc, it all takes faith to believe one way or the other.

People are so quick to knock a christian becuase of his beliefs, tell them their god isnt real, when it takes as much faith, if not more, to believe in science or evolution or whatever your belief system is.

There are holes in every belief system, be it science or religion, and it makes me sick to see others make fun of people or put others down for their beliefs.

Sure, we all know extremist christians, but you cant let them give an entire religion a bad name. I know some really nice and great people who are christians, an di know some total assholes, drug users, alcoholics, etc who are not christian.

Diversity makes us all great, it makes the city great.

  11. i second that, every one needs to stop being such ass holes. we obviously all have our own beliefes, why is it so hard for the world to accept that?

  12. No, that's where you're wrong. You only have to take something on faith if it CAN'T be proven to you. You know, like anything in the bible. Science on the other hand can be tested and confirmed, therefore does not have to be taken on faith because where there is evidence and proof, faith is not needed.

  13. Well lets see. How do you think life started? No one way has been proven, and certianly life has been created, the bible has its way, science has its way, neither have been proven.

Im not a christian, i grew up going to church, but there are many things i dont like about organized religion in general and that was reenforced by the currupt and back stabbing people i met while going to church, but i have a belief in a higher being.

I believe in evolution in the sense animals have evolved and adapted over millions of year, but science cant explain to me the origin of life. I have asked that question many times on this forum, stil have not gotten a good answer.

So i would say for that example, my beliefs are a cross between creationalism and evolution.

Also, there are many things science cant explain but we know are real or we see happening. Ive seen miricles happen that science couldnt explain, that reenforces my belief in a high power. I dont write off any possiblity though, as it seems many people have. It takes faith to write off things such as that aspect of creationalism because it cant be proven or disproven.

My beliefs are open to change as i seen things proven or disproven to me. I believe a great deal in science, but there are so many things science can not explain that it just makes me say hmmmmmm.....

  14. The origin of life is something that nobody can definitively explain or answer. I accept that. I never claimed science had ALL the answers, that's the wonderful thing about science, it's always expanding and progressing.

As for miracles. Well, I hear people speak of miracles all the time. I guess I look at them as stastistic anomalies and not miracles. For example, some would call it a miracle if say, a 60 year old woman lived through a really bad car wreck. What they're failing to take into consideration though, is that for every one 'miracle' there have to be many tragedies. In other words, for every 60 year old woman that 'miraculously' lives through a bad car wreck, 100(approx guess) have to die in a similar scenario. That's why it just looks more like a statistical anomaly to me and not a miracle. That's just my take on it.

  15. Thats called a FAITH IN SCIENCE.

I also accept there is no answer to that question, which is why i said every religion or idealogy takes faith. Everyone has beliefs, and they are all atleast minorly based on faith.

  16. Evolution takes faith... Unless you know of someone who has recently proven that it happened. Evolution actually takes more faith than the Bible as theres a lot in the Bible that is proven fact (mainly historical/archeological events)... There's a lot of problems with evolution. I suggest you try looking around these forums for the "Why Evolution Is Wrong" thread... I think you'll find a lot of good examples as to how much faith it really does take to believe in evolution.

  17. Again guys, you don't have to have faith in something that proves itself. Take for example the advancements in the treatment of cancer. There are stastistics that PROVE we are more likely to survive from cancer than ever before. Science never asks for you to have faith in it's beliefs because it insteads provides proof. Proof goes alot farther than faith.

And just to clarify things, it seems faith has more than one definition:

    1. Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.
    2. Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence. See Synonyms at belief. See Synonyms at trust.
    3. Loyalty to a person or thing; allegiance: keeping faith with one's supporters.
    4. often Faith Christianity. The theological virtue defined as secure belief in God and a trusting acceptance of God's will.
    5. The body of dogma of a religion: the Muslim faith.
    6. A set of principles or beliefs.

I've always thought of faith as what is described in definition two. The first definition actually does describe my belief in science though. So it's not totally inaccurate to say I have faith in science, if your idea of faith is what is described in definition one.

  18. Im talking about the things science cant prove, like the origin of life. It takes faith top believe any idea about the origin of life because they cant be proven.

There are many things science cant prove, science has also been proven to be wrong about stuff, sooooo basicly im just trying to say

  19. The origin of life is something no one can explain, be it with religion or science. I can admit that, can you?

  20. Thats the whole point lol. I know nothing can explain it, but obviously it happened, and most people have an idea how it happened, that idea is based on faith.

A lot of people have Faith science is right and will come up the the answers.
A lot of people have faith the bible holds the answers.

To write off any possiblity of a god takes FAITH, because it isnt proven.

I think neither hold All the answers.

    hmmm...........................................

I think i answered that question before you even asked it...........
