I work at a small fun park, full time while I'm going to college (I'm 21). Its a small business and for the most part I enjoy my job, because when I do my job right children laugh. I run the various rides but I'm getting tired of working outside 48 hours a week in triple degree heat. So I found out that there was an opening for a promotion as party planner. However they only hire homosexuals and girls, my boss told this to my face in front of my coworkers, because soccer moms arent comfortable with men being in charge of kids birthdays parties. I am looking for a new job, because I do not believe in working at a business that discriminates. What if these soccer moms aren't comfortable with blacks being in charge of childrens birthday parties, does that mean that blacks need not apply? Anyways I'm pretty stoned and part of me finds this hilarious and part of me finds this annoying. Only in the 21st century is it acceptable to discriminate against a straight white male. lol P.S. Fuck the MSM and there pedophile behind every bush bullshit. Its really gotten quite ridiculous!
Bro... i worked as a tourguide at a liberal college. Really liberal. They only hired uppity screechy broadway loving females and gays as well. I was the newest and youngest one there and they all tried to get me to cover mad shit for them, and I was usually the only one called to do any physical labor. All the gays and females that worked there didn't do shit and left early all the time. I told my boss I was going to sign out 5 minutes before my shift after lifting 32 boxes across the big ass campus all by myself and then his black ass told me i disgusted him. I feel you, kid racism to me at my job at giving tours at my college, one of my coworkers said "im not white i dont get any of that special treatment." then a muslim girl said to me "hes one of those white people" and ill admit i didn't get my feelings hurt or feel uncomfortable over that, but i became dissapointed because if i said that about them and their races, being a white person id be in deep shit. thats not equal at all. so after the ordeal i was walking next to the muslim girl and i said "you know your white joke back there made me feel uncomfortable." and right away she froze up and probably felt real surprised that i said anything of her jokes and turned them into a problem. she was shook. then, after she quickly responded "oh, im sorry!" i said nah im just kiddin ya. she then said "well you made ME really uncomfortable by being uncomfortable!" and i said yeah i know that feeling. more racism to me lets go!!! the girl at burger king straight up called me white boy to my face behind the counter, and although i know her kind-of cuz i go in that burger king sometimes, how u gonna do that? when i complained about my boss at my job (tourguide at a liberal college with multiple females and gays, but only 1 other straight black male I worked with) , and also said that its really hard to be straight, white, and patriotic in the environment of my office, i was fired. *All true btw
if you have witnesses to what the manager said...file suite...once it's in the system, call the local news outlets... discrimination based on sex/sexual orientation is wrong...

The good ones are acting their roles, and I remember them being rly fucking funny. That's a pretty cool job man! I would'nt worry about your employers business practice. Unless you have proof, or other people would backup your claim. They can probably afford a better lawyer. However, it's weird they would hire homosexuals are they not aware a large portion of child abuse is committed against same-sex children? Homosexuals definitely arn't above being sick fuckers(not bashing, just stating a fact) so that's a pretty dumb rule of theirs and might not keep them outta hot water.
Thanks for your support. I thought about filinga suit, but I think its best for me to just find another job. My boss has been promising a raise and a promotion to manager for a long time anyways and its always just bullshit. I pick up so much slack at my job. I work 12 hour shifts because people just don't show up to work even managers! My boss's are fucked anyways because somebodies embezzling money and the way the business is set up it can only be a manager or one of the owners. My bet is one of the owners, because I know for a fact that one of the co owners has been stealing tips. I don't have much faith in the American legal system or much money so I'm just going to get a very nice recommendation, quit smoking for a while and get a better job where they appreciate hard workers.

I feel your pain man and I have experienced the same thing (i.e. picking up slack for female and gay coworkers). Although I don't really have a problem with the bolded (for me) because I am one of only two white guys working their we have one black guy and the rest hispanics we trade racist jokes all the time lol and it helps pass away the time. For example the black guy (my friend Jackson) will have to clean up a ride and I'll say, "you sure you don't need to be "overseen" I don't tolerate laziness here boy!" And he'll laugh his ass off and talk about how the white mans bringing him down (my boss is white) then again we all smoke pot all the time so we are always laughing and playing with the kids (kids have it hard nowadays there are so many fucked up parents that just need to chill) thats what I like about the job. But I could not take it if people were seriously racist thats bullshit. like i said I feel for ya man. Because we live in the internet trolling age. Let me clarify in no way am I saying that gays or women workers are lazy this is just my experience with INDIVIDUALS at my own workplace. In Mississippi it could be that the white guys are being lazy and not doing their fair share of work. In no way am I stereotyping. Laziness and poor management have nothing to do with race or sexual orientation.

True I live in very conservative catholic area. I thought it was mega weird that they said they would hire gays for parties. A lot of people around here are creeped out by them. (idiots) Theres only one gay party planner maybe they ask the families if they think homosexuality is a sin before they assign the party planner lol! But I guess this is progress.
