If u r a first time grower i would suggest dirt in individual buckets for ur first grow. Pure hydroponic setup will only gain u about 15% and its a pain to manage. But....homedepot has the best prices but u have to order online and have shipped to store.....dont b a dummy n have it shipped to ur house. Stuff i order off web or from out of country gets shipped to my buddys house. If the cops raud his place they r gonna find grandma n some fresh cookies. Instead of the buckets look into flood and drain. Tables provide a larger root system and only needs checking once a day. Each day is 15-30 mins of work, (checking ph and ppm, adding water) and once a weeks you change the solution and flush. Some people will leave solution up to two weeks and will not flush weekly. They usually end up with issues. Flushing weekly and using fresh nutrients weekly will provide the best results from the plants. Good luck
