    Hello

I'm new to growing hydroponically and have run into a few issues that have seemed to stumped me. Any help or tips on what I'm doing wrong is appreciated!

    Here is my current setup:

    6 Plants:
    - 2 Tropicana Banana in the back
    - 2 Sour Diesel in the front
    - 2 White Widow in the middle

    Week 3 of Vegetation

    General Hydroponics Nutrients
    - Flora Series (3 parts)
    - Light Feed Schedule

Water is being refreshed every 2 weeks

Supercloset Aeroponic + Top feed setup w/ Kind LED light

    74-76 water temp
    75-78 air temp lights off
    80-84 air temp lights on

    pH 6
    Current TDS 510

    1. At about week two one plant started getting spots on a few leaves. I used a foliar spray of water, maybe the light burned it? Any idea what this is?

    2. I also noticed at about week two I found 2 leaves like this on the sour d plants. Is this just a random abnormality?

    3. At week 4 I'm noticing brown spots on the leaves. Originally the spots were darker and not showing the yellow specs I'm seeing now. I've noticed its predominately on the lower leaves, but also on several of the top leaves. I haven't applied a foliar spray in weeks so that can't be the cause. Is this maybe a nutrient burn? Nutrient deficiency? An imbalance?

Any idea what's causing these leaf issues?

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for the help, I'm new here!

  2. Thanks. I thought that nutrient burn affected the tips of the leaves more. Should I just be adding fresh water to alleviate the problem? I guess the flora series “light feed” schedule is too aggressive?

    thanks for the tip!

  3. in fact Id circulate 24hours no nutes at all just a wash and spin
feed again in 1 - 2 days or so even then 50% less

    good luck

  4. Hmmm do you guys think I should flush the system? And start with lighter nutrients and cal mag?

  5. I did use regular tap water in my nutrient mix, but I didn’t add cal mag.

  6. I would just add cal-mag. The plant looks healthy otherwise.

  7. Any idea how much I add per gallon? I’ve read a few different guides saying different amounts?

  8. It should say on the Flora Series feed chart.

  9. Got it. I’ll try and see how it goes. Thanks for the advice

  10. A few more pictures a few days later. Still look like a calcium deficiency ?

    thanks!
