Is it true you can use it to help control mold? I'm starting to notice web-like mold growing around the base of my plant and around the pot. I've managed to control it by moving around the soil and controlling the humidity. I haven't gotten a picture of it just yet, however. Any tips- or if you've encountered this before? Am I doomed?
you can, but it won't eliminate the mold (?) Maybe you are killing the beneficial mold. It is better to control diseases like this using proper biological controls = beneficial organisms.
Use the good stuff, not the grocery store stuff at 3ml/gallon. I buy mine online from walmart. You can use with your nutes, or for cleaning make a soap with distilled water for cleaning containers. What it mostly controls is the brown stuff that leads to root rot, and also some say spider mites. As far as your mold, IDK.
not all mold is bad. I bet you are seeing good fungus. If you are in soil, I would not be in a hurry to get rid of it. Living soil is just that---alive wit all sorts of fungus and mold.
