I have extracted aprx. 35mg of hydrocodone from vicodin tablets using the cold water extraction method I am thinking about evaporating the water, not using heat, and scraping up the remaining residue which should be relatively pure hydrocodone. Now my question, Is snorting an effective method to use hydrocodone? Also how much do you think I should take to recieve a moderate "high"? I weigh about 135. I can't seem to find any info that would define the dosage range for recreational hydrocodone use.

But let someone else verify me before you go off and possibly kill yourself, I don't want your blood on my hands if I'm wrong.
I saw that on erowid but I was looking for a dosage recomendation. I figured 35mg would probably be alright. I wont be drinking. I am still debating on wheter to rail it or not I was wondering if thats an effecient method or not.
35mgs is a lot; too much imo. if youve done it before, id say take 20. thatll get you fucked up. the most ive ever taken was 22mgs at one time and its sufficient to say that it smashed me in the face also, what is the water extraction method?
Snorting it didn't work well for me. I think I didn't let it dry long enough. I suggest drinking it so you don't waste anything
if this is your first time, do like 15-20mg. that'll get you pretty fucked. i did 20 my first time and if i stared at stuff for like 5sec it would start moving.
Go for the 30-35mg - you have nothing to worry about. 1.) No acetam (that's what you withdrew from the extraction. 2.) Vics are one of the weaker opiates. You probably won't be completely satisfied with 20mg. 3.) The trip isn't what you would call intense, you're just insanely chill/euphoric - what's there to get prepared for? Hydrocodone is not a good drug to snort I much prefer hydrocodone koolaid I got way more fucked by using the same extraction on some tylenol with codeine tabs a week ago next time i'll just drink it
