And it begins! Throwing 4 ladies outside this year! We've got Gelato, Zkittlez, Fruity Pebbles, and Pineapple Express! I'll be posting regular updates every week or so throughout the grow. Please feel free to pull up a chair, light one up, and watch the magic or watch me fail miserably! Either way hopefully it'll be entertaining non the less! Ayy Good Luck With Your Out Door Grow Z! They Look Pretty So Far Even. I'm Sending Prayers an Good Vibes To Your Plants That They Have a Nice Life. ~Toni~
I'd buy two one gallon sprayers and grab your supply of Potassium Bicarbonate and BT Thuricide. Bicarb for the Powdery Mildew. (Every outside grow gets it). BT for the caterpillars come flower time. Both are an apply weekly treatment. A day or two apart. BNW
Honestly on my 6th or 7th outdoor grow now and I've never dealt with PM one time, knock on wood!! I've dealt with bud rot and mold forming in the buds but never PM. I always spray BT Thuricide since my very first caterpillar outbreak. Like 5 years ago and I had 2 plants but didn't realize I needed to keep that much of an eye out of them and wasn't paying attention to the eggs being laid and I swear I pulled off about 80 caterpillars off the 2 plants over a 2 week period or so. I was out there tweaking like crazy at night with a flash light trying to find all I could lmao. Learned the hard way, never had a problem with em since really. I usually find most the eggs before they hatch now, once the buds form I don't like to spray anything on em if I really don't have to so I just learned to pick the eggs off. They like to lay them in specific areas on the buds and on or under the sugar leaves so it gets easy to target them now. Sorry for the ramble haha, thanks for stopping by! Cheers! Powdery Mildew is a constant here in Southern California so I always treat for it. Happy Growing.. BNW
Ah yeah, I'm in northern cali, in the middle of the valley, it's really dry here until the very end of the grow season when it starts getting dew on the plants in the morning. I'll usually go out and blow em down with a leaf blower early if it's real bad. Sent from my LM-X420 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
