Hey, looking to get a simple piece of glass. Straight tube with an ice pinch, around 14-16" tall 50mm-5mm glass. I'll probably be ordering from ALT because there aren't any good US online glass shops and the UK ones won't take my card, plus I'd rather not wait 3 weeks for shipping. I'm looking at a 12" SYN, a 14" ZOB and a 16" HVY. What would you guys go for based on quality? They're all within like $5 or so of each other so price isn't really a factor. As I said 14" would probably be the ideal length but the only one on ALT under $150 or so is the ZOB and I can't really get past that huge logo Thoughts, recommendations?
the only difference is that HVY makes alot of there stuff with a recessed joint. But other then that. its all the same shit.

ZOB is a good brand. The price seems good for what you posted. What do you think of this ZOB? It costs more than what you want to spend, but I think it's cool. I just thought you might like to look at it anyway. Looking is free! LOL
you can't go wrong with between the 3 IMO. If you don't like the retardedly distracting and large ZOB mark just go with the HVY, 9mm glass is fucking cool
My neighbor has a hvy, and it's a clean peice. the 9mm for 160 sounds like a steal, you could use it as a weapon and no logo so you don't need to feel like a billboard when you bust it out.

Wait until you get a few more experienced people posting in here before ordering because the general opinion from people who know their glass is that SYN > HVY. Definitely read that thread I linked.
^ Good to know, thanks for pointing that out. EDIT: Alright so I'm trying to decide between the 12" SYN straight tube and the 15" SYN beaker with the Dome perc. The beaker is pretty different from what I originally had in mind but the price is right. I'd be using it mainly for vaping with the Eclipse h2o but definitely the occasional smoke sesh and I'm sure it would end up being my DD. Now my dilemma is 12" is a little bit smaller than what I had in mind (I was aiming for 14") buttt on the other hand I"m not a huge fan of Beaker bases and percs. I definitely like the diffusion they provide but I think they look kind of odd and they're hard as shit to clean. My room mate has a brandless piece that he got at an LHS that has two 7 arm trees and that thing drags like crazy, so much that vaping out of it is always a huge fail. Would that be a problem with the smaller dome perc of the SYN?

I went with SYN. A bit smaller but I just wanted a smaller tube as a daily driver and to vape with anyway. I actually found a smoke shop in OR that had a Rasta logo one in stock and they shipped it up to me. Should be here Tuesday
