Morning to all in USA anyway.
My plants are running out of food in (edited: week 3) of flower I believe.
The one in lower right is most prominent.
It very slight but very slowly getting more prominent.
Purpling center rib and splotches of yellow mostly (photos don’t do a good job of showing the colors, these were the best colors my camera would do). One plant is worse, another is second worse. Other two look ok. I mean they all look OK in the pics, but the lower right hand corner one is defiantly yellowing and purple- veins. Grape ape so stems are all purple on all plants, genetic.

Lemon OG x Grape Ape OG
FFOF with “simple soil” amendments and nitrogen top dress
    5 gallon fabric
Clover Cover (and some volunteer barley from mulch), barley straw mulch
5x5 indoor/ 650 watt HLG LED with 750 ppfd at canopy
84 degrees ambient day/ 69 degrees amb at night
    55% rh at canopy
    Leaf Surface Temp 80 degrees
Tap water pH’d to 6.5/ dry cycle watering (1/2 gallon per day mol).

One of these plants just started to slightly go moltly yellow from top to bottom; not much, just starting (pictured). The main leaf veins up top are starting to turn purple (pictured) (leaf stems are purple from grape ape genetics). Larger leaves have started to claw slightly, all over, all the time, dry or watered (pictured).

    I have top dressed yesterday:
    1 tbs crab meal
    1 tbs kelp meal
3/4 tbs high P sea bird quano
Watered in with water inoculated with MICROBE Photosynthysis product (with 1 tsp blackstrap molasses)
    All Pictured

All the additions were low N.
I think my P and N are used up.
Is this enough food and correct for the party?
    Advise?

  2. The pictures don’t show it, but all the leaves are slightly splotched in light yellow, top to bottom. Other plants are solid green.

  3. FFOF I'd be very surprised if hungrey if you have you doubts...and you do I'd foliar spray 2-3 plants see if it darkens them up ,,but hey its week 4?

fan leaves are often consumed about this time, if not earlier

  4. First time I've tried it, however my current auto outdoor run only has about a month left and I've yet to top dress or feed. Every other time I've fed as a precaution and to give it " added nutrients " for flower. Total game changer for me when running autos. I said all that to back up the length ocean forest feeds. I'm at 2 months round about.

  5. I was kind of thinking 5 gal containers are pretty small for photo plants grown in soil. I would expect to need a to add something to hit the finish line.
    Cheers

Sour Lemon OG x Grape Ape OG Update
Very interesting cultivar. Purple is genetic.
Displacing nutes from the lower, bigger, non essential leaves. Starting to look like New England in the fall!
I will let those big fans drain down and fall

  9. My lights were too close too, you can see the tips burned and bleached. Earlier I turned up the lights to raise the temperature but didn’t raise them up high enough afterwards. This cultivar does not seem to like being pushed by PAR at the upper limit (measured 900 at the canopy before I raised them).

How long does it take before the nutrients in these top dressed amendments are available to the roots? I’m feeding the soil, but the soil does not seem to be feeding my plants. They look like shit, leaves all colors of fucked up, the life getting sucked out of them. The sugar leaves are next in line. If I had not left most of the fan leaves to draw from, these girls would be fried. Should I break bad and give them a light shot of Cal Mag?

The pic doesn’t really record the yellow and red spotting streaking. They look like hell, in a beautiful kind of way : (
