Humidity control/Waterproofing Box

Discussion in 'Grow Room Design/Setup' started by WeedMan2.0, May 31, 2019.

  1. I have recently turned a box into a small grow. About 2x2x5ft, and I want to seal corners and such. I have a can of Leak Seal and was wondering if it might introduce any unwanted chemicals if I line the corners, edges, intake exhaust then coat it with nontoxic paint. Is this a good idea or should I strictly paint? Or stick with my current solution mylar?? Please help!

  2. What is your objective when it comes to waterproofing this box, preventing potential leaks? Are you doing hydro or soil? It's hard to say without a better idea of its intended application.

  3. Its soil, and wanting to keep all controlled humidity inside, and the box is cardboard so don't want it to get soggy. Thanks for response
