Thats pretty funny, American earthquake bombs It's like a mini cold war with a conspiracy theory twist
What a coincidence, believe it or not I was wondering about this myself the other day. Earthquake in Haiti, kill a bunch of people, 'donate' a shitload of money, and then you 'own' another country. I swear, I've seen less commercials for Katrina.
I too was pondering this possibility.... Metaphysically it's possible right? I don't doubt the fact our governments are working on weapons of this nature. Of course its only speculation because we can't be certain.
Earthquakes are cause by tectonic plate movement miles below the earths surface where the plates jam against each other and preassure builds. When the pressure gets to a critical point the plates shift suddenly as the movement that had been stopped takes place all at once. The more time between earthquakes and the depth of the plates usually dictate the strength of the quake (the Haiti quake was 5 miles below the surface, one of the reasons it was so devastating.) To cause an earthquake then you would need to identify and target a fault line that was under extreme pressure (ie likely to release soon) then to tunnel down 5 or 10 miles through bedrock to get to the fault and then create an explosion large enough to have a significant impact on the earths crust. So i tend to think it was a natural occurance.

Tesla is the man: Nikola Tesla (1856 - 1943) - Master of Resonance It was an innocent experiment. Tesla had attached a small vibrator to an iron column in his New York City laboratory and started it vibrating. At certain frequencies specific pieces of equipment in the room would jiggle. Change the frequency and the jiggle would move to another part of the room. Unfortunately, he hadn't accounted for the fact that the column ran downward into the foundation beneath the building. His vibrations were being transmitted all over Manhattan. For Tesla, the first hint of trouble came when the walls and floor began to heave (ref 1). He stopped the experiment just as the police crashed through the door. It seems he'd started a small earthquake in his neighborhood smashing windows, swayed buildings, and sending panicked neighbors rushing into the streets. The police had frequently responded to complaints about Tesla's unusual activities. Although Tesla was not the first to discover resonance he was obsessed with it and created some of the most incredible demonstrations of it ever seen. He studied both mechanical and electrical versions. In the process he created an artificial earthquake, numerous artificial lightning storms, knocked an entire power plant off line in Colorado, and nearly caused the steel frame of a sky scraper under construction in Manhattan to collapse. Tesla realized that the principles of resonance could be used to transmit and receive radio messages well before Marconi. In fact, many knowledgeable sources now credit Tesla as the inventor of radio rather than Marconi. This includes the Supreme Court which in 1943 ruled that Tesla's radio patents had preceded all others including Marconi's . Tesla was a one-of-a-kind neurotic genius who had a profound influence on our technology and culture. He was obsessed with germs and the number three yet his inventions almost single handedly enabled the creation of our modern AC power distribution system. He was a contemporary of Edison and for a time worked for the famous inventor. Unlike Edison (who Tesla considered something of a bumpkin), Tesla used theory and calculations as well as experimentation to conduct his research and was the more modern of the two in his approach. He was also far more interested in pursuing his inventions for their own sake than in becoming rich and famous. Unfortunately, Tesla's obsession with pursuing grand ideas and projects proved to be his undoing. He became convinced that energy could be transmitted through the air without wires and spent a small fortune on a demonstration project. He built a giant Tesla coil in Colorado Springs which used electrical resonance to build up incredibly high voltages and caused fantastic lightning shows. Unfortunately, his dream of transmitting wireless power was never commercialized and, partly because of it, Tesla ended dying a poor man . The mad scientist stereotype came from Tesla. Tesla's Manhattan Lab was a mysterious place with buzzing electric arcs, eerie lighting, and bizarre contraptions. The lab undoubtedly inspired mad scientist scenes in 1930's horror pictures such as Frankenstein, with Boris Karloff, in which high voltage arcs are used to give the monster life. Although Tesla never attempted to create life he did create the first radio controlled robotic vehicles and claimed that one day robots would free humanity of drudgery work. He also claimed to have invented a powerful death beam. For entertainment, Tesla once convinced his good friend Mark Twain to test out a vibrating platform in his Manhattan lab. Twain took him up on the offer and found it to his liking. When Tesla commanded Twain to come down off the platform Twain refused because he was having a good time. A few minutes later Twain ran from the device. It seems that Tesla had deliberately neglected to tell Twain that the vibration tended to cause diarrhea. Had Tesla been less eccentric and more interested in personal fortune he would have avoided the grandiose projects which were his undoing. If he had simply avoided making outrageous statements, he would have had more scientific credibility and easily overshadowed Edison. Today, Tesla would be far more famous and the subject of resonance would probably receive far more attention in science textbooks. Resonance was certainly one of Tesla's greatest passions and, like Tesla, seems almost too mysterious to be real.
Seems like people have waaaay too much free time; no person who thinks rationally should actually believe this
HAARP-the Pentagon's use of Tesla technology!!HAARP is an acronym for High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program and is run by the Pentagon from Alaska. HAARP is really a SHIELD around the United States to protect it from a missile attack. A side effect of this macabre machine is the altering of the climate and the triggering of tornadoes and hurricanes. Tesla discovered that the earth vibrates or resonates at the very low frequency of 12 Hertz. HAARP also transmits at this very low frequency which can be used to contact submarines in the deep ocean. Stationed at strategic locations throughout the earth, smaller versions of HAARP could be used to alter the weather and cause earthquakes in recalcitrant nations. Aerial photo of the vast HAARP Alaska site. Vast Pentagon HAARP array in Alaska. Instead of using Tesla's system to provide free electricity for the world, they are destroying the planet with weather warfare and earthquakes!! The Pentagon refers to it as "owning the weather." HAARP antenna array. Smaller versions of this could be used by the Pentagon to alter the weather and create earthquakes. Tesla had a relatively small amount of electricity to pump into the earth. Imagine the destructive power of this vast Pentagon installation in such a remote location.
More on Tesla's resonance oscillators: Tesla's ELECTRICAL oscillator!! In 1899, in Pike's Peak, Colorado, Tesla demonstrated the feasibility of transmitting electricity through the earth without the use of wires....He chose Pike's Peak because of its remote location and the availability of electricity from a local power station. Tesla's Colorado laboratory in 1899. Wireless transmission of electricity to all parts of the earth was the main objective of Tesla in the famous Pike's Peak experiment. He also discovered that tremendously destructive forces could be unleashed in the earth by means of electrical resonance. Tesla with his magnifying transmitter producing millions of volts of electricity. Tesla discovered that the earth was a very good conductor of electricity, and that he could set the earth in electrical oscillation just like the mechanical oscillation that almost caused an earthquake in Manhattan. Tesla's large scale oscillating apparatus. Power was supplied to the primary coil by the local power station. The secondary coil was GROUNDED to the earth, producing waves which traveled to the opposite side of the world. The returning waves were discharged through the atmosphere. Tesla's assistant Kolman Czito prepares to throw the switch during the Pike's Peak experiment. Here is an account of Tesla's experiment by the science editor of the New York Herald Tribune: "When the moving waves expanded outward from Colorado Springs, they traveled in all directions in ever increasing circles until they passed over the bulge of the earth, and then in ever smaller circles and with increasing intensity converged on the diametrically opposite point of the earth, a trifle to the west of the two French Islands, Amsterdam and St. Paul, in the area between the Indian and Antarctic Oceans midway between the southern tip of Africa and the southwest corner of Australia. Here a tremendous electrical south pole was built up, marked by a wave of great amplitude that rose and fell in unison with Tesla's apparatus at its north pole in Colorado Springs. As this wave fell, it sent back an electrical echo which produced the same effect at Colorado Springs. Just as it arrived back at Colorado Springs, the oscillator was working to build up a wave that would re-enforce it and send it back more powerfully than before to the antipode to repeat the performance. If there were no losses in this operation—if the earth were a perfect electrical conductor, and there were no other sources of resistance—-this resonance phenomenon would build up to a destructive action of gigantic proportions, even with the charging source of only about 300 horsepower which Tesla used. Voltages of gigantic magnitudes would be built up. Charged particles of matter would be hurled outward from the earth with vast energies, and eventually even the solid matter of the earth would be affected and the whole planet disintegrated. Pure resonance, however, is not attainable. Tesla frequently stressed the fortunate nature of this fact; for otherwise disastrous results could be produced by small amounts of energy. The electrical resistance of the globe would prevent the attainment of pure resonance; but practical resonance can be obtained by supplying continuously the amount of energy lost in resistance—and this supplies perfect control of the situation."(O' Neill, Prodigal Genius, pp. 189-190). More on the famous MECHANICAL oscillator a.k.a Earthquake Machine: Tesla's earthquake machine!! Inventive ideas flowed from the mind of Nikola Tesla like water over Niagara Falls.... He was by nature a peace loving man and never envisioned that his inventions would be used for military purposes. One of his inventions was a MECHANICAL oscillator or resonator which could be used to locate ore or oil deposits far beneath the earth: "This system of TELEGEODYNAMICS, using mechanical vibrations, Tesla declared, would make it possible to determine the physical constant of the earth, and to locate ore deposits far beneath the surface, This latter prediction has since been fulfilled, for many oil fields have been discovered by studying the vibrations reflected from sub-surface strata" (O' Neill, Prodigal Genius, pp. 164-165). One day while testing his MECHANICAL resonator, he actually caused an EARTHQUAKE in lower Manhattan: "Quite unmindful what anyone thought about him, Tesla carried on his vibration and all other experiments. Just what experiment he had in mind on this particular morning will never be known. He busied himself with preparations for it while his oscillator on the supporting iron pillar of the structure kept building up an ever higher frequency of vibrations. He noted that every now and then some heavy piece of apparatus would vibrate sharply, the floor under him would rumble for a second or two—that a window pane would sing audibly, and other similar transient events would happen—all of which was quite familiar to him. These observations told him that his oscillator was tuning up nicely, and he probably wondered why he had not tried it firmly attached to a solid building support before. Things were not going so well in the neighborhood, however. Down in Police Headquarters in Mulberry Street the "cops" were quite familiar with strange sounds and lights coming from the Tesla laboratory. They could hear clearly the sharp snapping of the lightnings created by his coils. If anything queer was happening in the neighborhood, they knew that Tesla was in back of it in some way or other. On this particular morning the cops were surprised to feel the building rumbling under their feet. Chairs moved across floors with no one near them. Objects on the officers' desks danced about and the desks themselves moved. It must be an earthquake! It grew stronger. Chunks of plaster fell from the ceilings. A flood of water ran down one of the stairs from a broken pipe. The windows started to vibrate with a shrill note that grew more intense. Some of the windows shattered. "That isn't an earthquake," shouted one of the officers, "it's that blankety-blank Tesla. Get up there quickly," he called to a squad of men, "and stop him. Use force if you have to, but stop him. He'll wreck the city." The officers started on a run for the building around the corner. Pouring into the streets were many scores of people excitedly leaving nearby tenement and factory buildings, believing an earthquake had caused the smashing of windows, breaking of pipes, moving of furniture and the strange vibrations" (O' Neill, Prodigal Genius, pp. 159-160). Tesla also claimed that his OSCILLATOR could knock down any building and even split the earth in half: "So powerful are the effects of the telegeodynamic oscillator", said Tesla in reviewing the subject in the thirties, "that I could go over to the Empire State Building and reduce it to a tangled mass of wreckage in a very short time. I could accomplish this result with utmost certainty and without any difficulty whatever. I would use a small mechanical vibrating device, an engine so small you could slip it in your pocket. I could attach it to any part of the building, start it in operation, allow it twelve or thirteen minutes to come to full resonance. The building would first respond with gentle tremors, and the vibrations would then become so powerful that the whole structure would go into resonant oscillations of such great amplitude and power that the rivets in the steel beams would be loosened and sheared. The outer stone coating would be thrown off and then the skeleton steel structure would collapse in all its parts. It would take about 2.5 horsepower to drive the oscillator to produce this effect." (O' Neill, Prodigal Genius, p. 165).
HAARP can NOT cause earth quakes please tell me you idiots don't beleive this one if it really could, why would they test it on a country that they'd then have to donate millions in aid to... and why would they risk getting caught ^ this is the main point that discredits pretty much every conspiracy theory
HAARP is not giving millions in aid to this country. They're not going to get caught. Debunker debunked.
Tesla's mechanical oscillator did not cause real earthquakes it just can shake things along their resonant frequency. If you have a bridge built out of steel i-beams you can mess it up because you can get one or more of the i-beams to resonate and shake the whole bridge, but when dealing with the ground the device would be nothing more than a fancy vibrator. There are a lot of urban legends about Tesla, but many of the wilder stories are just that, urban legends. He allegedly caused some buildings to shake which seems reasonable considering how building were built at the time, although that machine wouldn't work on buildings today. If he really could create artificial earthquakes and lightning storms (not just some electrical discharge off of some tesla coils) I would like to know why no modern scientists could do the same in the last 100 years or so, despite the fact that our knowledge of physics, electricity, weather and tectonic patterns far exceed what Tesla knew.
You're right. We had nothing to do with this. But you can't igonore the possiblity that we at least posses the knowledge and perhaps the capability of doing something like this. And from my brief examples I have previously posted in this thread, Nikola Tesla was a pioneer in this research, a pioneer in our modern way of living, which, without a doubt, resulted in many of his inventions being weaponized. Read up on him. He's one of the most fasinating persons in modern history. AS to your questions for motivation. You can always find a motive if you look under enough rocks. Or don't, and assume there is nothing under the rocks to look at. Who's donating millions in aid? Not only our tax dollars, but are own good will. Why take the risk? They take the risk cause no one could prove it. Maybe they have already tested it, HAARP that is: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mk8dFM5t3lY]YouTube - HAARP caused earthquake in China?[/ame] It's becoming increasingly difficult to keep pace with technology. What is possible and what is not. Accept the fact that from now on, science fiction can always become a reality. If that statement makes me an idiot. so be it.
Tesla is not modern technology, he lived almost 100 years ago. If he knew how to make earthquakes with his comparatively limited knowledge of physics (the average physics undergrad today knows more about physics than Tesla did), it would be known to mainstream modern science by now. Tesla was brilliant, but it's ridiculous to think he had some secret knowledge that continues to elude the thousands of other scientists that have succeeded him.
you really like speaking out of yer ass ehh?, all of Tesla's ideas were stolen, by Westinghouse and Edison, he was brilliant and you wouldn't be on GC today without Tesla, let alone any Physics undergrad knows more about physics than Tesla, then where are ALL there life changing inventions? ignorance is bliss, that's why i rest my head in my lap when Harrp / U.S. government is brought up.
I wasn't saying he wasn't brilliant, his research into AC current alone makes him one of the great scientists in history, I'm just pointing out that his knowledge is outdated, so it's unreasonable to think that he could secretly create an earthquake generating machine if no modern scientists knows how to. I admit the comment about him knowing less about physics than the average undergrad was a bit harsh sounding, but Telsa knew very little about relativity, as it was new at the time, and what he did know he didn't believe. He also didn't know quantum mechanics which many undergraduates have at least been introduced to by their 3rd year. I'm not bullshitting when I say Tesla was one of my favorite scientists. He and Edison were a metaphor for the changing world of science. Edison was brilliant but had no formal schooling or "book smarts" while Tesla was very well educated. From Edison's own writings it was clear he simply didn't understand AC current, mainly because he lacked the mathematical background. Tesla's defeat of Edison in the AC/DC wars showed that technology had advanced to the point where self-taught scientists were no longer viable. I also like Tesla's quirkiness, Einstein was Tesla lite, IMO. Tesla was a brilliant scientist, but I do not think he could create artificial earthquakes.
