I'd literally be buying everything on that list. Except. Instead get this. Digital ballast. Regular MH Bulb (not conversion bulb). I dont see anything wrong with this buy honestly, And only for 350.00 usd. Everything bought separate would add up way past that.
Yeah its a good combo deal most definitely. But then again its most like a magnetic ballast as apposed to digital. Also probably not the best quality ballast or bulbs. Will need a reflective hood unless it comes with one. Its a good bang for the buck deal but then again how long it lasts and if you end up having problems with it is another story. You get what you pay for thats just my opinion. Goodluck.
3 Year warranty on it. and 1 year warranty on both bulbs. How much noise will this ballast make? Im must thinking with all it gives I cant pass it up. And just buy an air cooled hood for it instead of the one if gives me. And then just have to order fans/ ducting
Don't really know how noisy of a ballast it is, but hey its got a warranty on both so I say if you like it go for it
I think Im going to purchase this, Just because it has so much in it i need, and has teh nutrients/ soil i want. Would like a digital ballast but hey a deals a deal. and there is a warranty an the items.. any suggestions from anybody else?
The ballast won't be that loud at all, a very low buzzing sound, easily fades into the background. Your fans/exhaust is the thing you need to worry about for noise.
