Hps Tranformer Assembly

    Does anyone know any websites out there showing how to make the transformer inside a HPS ballast. I have searched but cannot find anything. thanks

    you can not make a transformer by your self,you can go buy replacement transformers but you cant build your own..

    Why can you not. If you can make a 1000w wind powered electrical generator by yourself, there has to be a way to make a transformer by yourself. Basically they are just windings around a iron core. Anyway i find this hard to believe. There is a way to make everything yourself if you want to.

    save your self a lot of time be smart hit ebay and just buy one for $20 thares no way you can make a transformer cheaper than a pre made one. pluse this way it saves you from a huge shock or maybe toasting your house down

    I did hit up ebay and couldnt find any single HPS transformers on there. Maybe i am not searching right but i couldnt find any. Thanks.

    try just searching for High Pressure Sodium or for ballast not going to find much in hps transformers you can buy a hole hps light set up with bulb for 50 bucks if you search ebay just rite
