A friend just asked if she could run a High pressure Sodium in a Metal Halide ballast and instead of being a one sided ass i decided to ask you ..... GRASSCITY.... i think i read once (before conversion bulbs) that you could run a hps bulb in a mh ballast but not the other way around ... or maybe it was the other way around n not the other.... at any rate we'd like to know if its possible n not just from the books n mags but if youve really tried n had it work or burnt the block down..... i dont wanna call you a dumbass but how does one who knows so much know so little ? i dont think your mh ballast will even power up a hps.... IF it does..... its a fire hazard its running so inefficiently that youre either gonna burn out the ballast or go through bulbs like crazy dippind hard into the pocket on the energy bill too... dont do it .... buy another hps ballast....
