No it will not work. Not only is the base a different size, hps and metal halide bulbs require a ballast to fire the bulb just like floros do.
Was this a joke question? You have posted 72 times and don't know this? If not a joke do some more homework, look at hid setups amazon ebay bing hid grow setups. Always a ballast reflector socket and bulb are needed.
