Hello everyone i read somewhere that you can use a 400 watt mh bulb in a hps ballast but not vise versa does anyone out there have any experience or knowledge on this subject?Cause i mean hell if that"s the case i"d save a ton of money just buying a good hps system and an extra mh bulb.Any imput?????

Well since there doesn"t seem to be anybody on this site with electrical knowledge so i experimented myself.I took a regular 400 watt MH bulb and put it in my HPS set up.The verdict is that it works so far it light up and seems to be functioning properly,the ballast isn"t any hotter and it"s been bout an hour or so now.
