Hi... Ive finally got my 400watt hps, and plants are around 3 and half weeks into veg, shall i start to use my hps now??? and if so how close to the plants??
what were they grown under before, fluros? for my 400 i keep them approx 12-16" away from the top of the plants, but watch as the HPS does give out some heat, what type of HPS is it?.......a highbay or lowbay?......if it'sfrom a hydro store or grow shop, chances are it has a remote ballest, put this in another room as it will get hot, and it'll help keep your growroom temp down.......unless you live in a cold place, and need the extra heat.........Peace out..........Sid
