hi i have a tent and have a 250watt hps light going in there. if i put in another 250watt hps is it the same as 1 500 watt bulb. will i be able to raise the light more and still get good qaulity dense buds. i want to put about 6 plants in the tent
It would be better than a single 500, even though that doesn't exist. You wouldn't want to raise the lights though. The advantage of multiple smaller wattage lights is that they can be placed closer to the canopy.
o rite i thought i would be better off raising it to spread more light around the area.how far away frrom the light will the plant still develope good buds and not airy ones. thanks man
No idea. I always have maximum light intensity in my grows so I don't really know how well buds come out with less intense lighting. If I had a 250 watt hps I would probably have it around 10" or so from the canopy.
