Just tired of the heat. I have my closet with a zipper door, 6"fan+filter. Ive been using the light for 2 yrs. If i dont get a led im going to try the newer MH pulse start bulbs. And heres bout my average size plant.
I've been working a lot with pulse start lamps. They are " the bees knees". Almost the same output for half the wattage. I've been installing these in industrial sites and mills and 250w are brighter then the old 400w mh. Even at 50% illumination!!! Efficiency is the name of the game. Explore your options and try it all.
I think your referring to the spectrum when you mean 3k. I believe you have a 400w bulk that's burning in a 3000 Kelvin scale. And no a watt is a watt no matter what.
Ok there just brighter to our eyes lol. I have a 3x4 closet and there and solar flare 200w covers half that. Thats what i think website says solar strom 400w covers a 3x3 but i cant afford that geez.
