OK, so you know how you can use those little fish tank PH testing kits to test the PH in a hydro system? Well, I went to go measure it for the first time today and realized that the water with the nutrients added is a light pinkish color when in the testing container. So my questions are.... A) will that affect the color the water come out after you add the blue testing chemical? B) what color should it be if it does change it? Pink Pony
Not to be harsh, but you get mediocre results with mediocre equipment. Shell out $20 for a decent Ph test kit, and don't guess.
I totally agree and plan on getting a digital one very soon. Just wanted to be sure i am using the one I have right now the right way.
