How's She Looking

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by AlbinoBud, Oct 1, 2018.

  1. Hey!

First time growing outdoors, and everything seems to be going fine. Watering every couple days, good sunlight, drilled a couple holes in the bottom of the cup for drainage.

Was just looking for any tips & whether my plant is looking okay so far, thanks!

Also, any tips on identifying what strain this could be would be greatly appreciated.

  2. NEED more soil. It's cheap to fill that cup

  3. Definitely no way of figuring out what strain it is by pics of a seedling let alone a full grown monster bud. You maybe able to slightly narrow it down but it's highly unlikely you would ever figure it out even close. All marijuana plants basically look similar and there are too many variables that can change the final appearance.

These are not pics of buds on the same plants. They are not even close in genetics actually yet as you can see they both share vary similar traits across the board. One is Lemon Mirangue and the other is Dream Lotus. The only things they share is environment, care, and me. The aroma profile of them both is distinctly different but you wouldn't know that by the pics. Good luck

    Thanks for all the replies.
Why exactly does it need more soil, if the seed is already planted below there. But I will do anyway. The reason I had the soil level so low was so the side of the cup was protecting the seedling from the wind until it was taller than the cup, which by then would be much more capable of standing in the wind.

  6. you could gently tip the cup over in your hand so the seedling and it's current soil slide out then add the additional soil to the bottom of the cup.

Reason. More soil means more room for roots to grow. also if you haven't already I would definitely put drainage holes in the bottom of that cup. a pair of scissors and just gently cut a few slits right on the bottom edge where the bottom meets the side.

  7. Ahhh right, will do. And yep, as I said in my post I've drilled a couple holes in the bottom of the cup for drainage.

    Thanks!
