Hello, GrassCity, I have decided to trying growing again after my first ruined attempt, and just wanted to share my grow, and possibly get help or advice along the way. I wanna keep everything simple, since its such a small grow. Okay, about the plants: Number of Plants: 3 Plants Age: 1 Week, 2 days as of 11/4/14 Sprouted: 10/26/14 Strain: Unknown - I got a bag of seeds from a friend with some good seeds in it Soil: Scotts Hummus and Manure Soil 0.15 - 0.15 - 0.15 with added Espoma Organic Natural Perlite About 50/50 in a small white, plastic cup Nutrients: None Water: Fed about 2-3 Poland Spring bottle caps of water each, almost everyday General Info: The plants are pretty short, really short. I can get measurements if needed. 2 of the plants look like they went full retard, and are bending all of the place, with their 2 serrated leaves flipping and flopping around. The good looking plant's 2 serrated leaves are really like bending down, like their stiff, but drooping down pretty low. I thinks its due to over watering. I can get detailed pics if needed. The Setup - Indoor Growbox: Small box with white paper lined on the inside Lighting: 3 26watt, 2600k, CFL's - I plan on adjusting to add up to 6 if it fits Lights are about 2 inches (5cm) off the plant Temp: Unknown but nice and warm Humidty: Unknown Ph: Not gonna bother with Ventilation: Just that hole in the box, where a small fan used to be, but not anymore. And a few inches of space at the top. I place a white printer paper over the standing flaps as a roof. General info: I have 2600k bulbs, even though your suppose to have around 6500k or something, but after some research I found out that its fine to grow with them. They don't have much effect Also, like stated above, I plan on making adjustments so 6 bulbs will be in the box. I may even try holding off the plants until Spring, bring them outdoors and growing them all out until they naturally flower. But probably not since that would be very difficult to maintain. I meant to have just 1 plant, but ended up germing 4 seeds, and 3 popped. I kinda wanna keep the best one and putting the other 2 next to a window. But I wanna keep them to increase chances of a female. I'll throw in some pics as well. If you got any questions, ideas, or suggestions/advice, please feel free to share. I know it may be a crappy grow, but I'm doing to to prepare myself for my outdoor grow in the Spring. Thanks
Those bulbs will put more light out in your entire grow area if you have the sides pointing down instead of the ends, and get some books or something to put under those pots to get the girls closer to the light
I would agree but I'm willing to bet this is his temporary set up until they get bigger and hes gonna change it. There's definitely enough light to prevent stretching how they are for now. He said hes gonna add more lights later
