Sorry guys, you were probably hoping this would be a girl asking this lol. Anyways, I just started working out. Got some dumb bells and a pull up bar. I want a sexy "beach body". Just really lean and ripped. How far do I have to go? Do I look out of shape right now? Will push ups/pull ups/dumb bell exercises and ab exercises be enough? Thanks.
You dont look over or underweight, but you don't look like you work out of thats what you're asking. If you're a beginner simple bodyweight excercises and proper nutrition would get you looking the way ya want.
You look like me with a little extra fluff. If you just lose weight you'll probably look a little wimpy. Might want to bulk and do compound exercises then cut.

Thanks. Also I was wondering, I'm going to start working out early in the morning before work. Should I work out before I eat breakfast or after? Every morning I eat like 3 eggs(just egg whites), turkey bacon, omega 3 pills and my multivitamins. Sent via the Samsung Galaxy SIII, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone

your at a good starting point to clean bulk. Make sure you eat before you lift, no matter what. At least drink a protein shake, or eat like 6 eggs and some toast/oat meal, it'd be a good start

I thought it wasn't good to exercise right after eating?? Sent via the Samsung Galaxy SIII, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone
Do push ups, it looks like you do not have any chest muscles at all. It's good to have some carbs and light protein before a workout. Protein afterwards I would give it about two hours to settle before lifting Consult bodybuilding.com they have a lot of quality articles. Main thing; do not give up. You are going to be quite sore but do not submit to the pain!
I personally dont lift in the mornings for this reason lol. You could wake up, pound down a protein shake and go straight to the gym, start with 15-25 mins of cardio, then lift. Once you get home, another protein shake, then wait about 30 minutes, and eat your breakfast. I'll post up some lifting articles for you to read in a little, when I find them lol.

Nutrition forum is a good place to start. And there's a muscles thread where you can get a ton of good info. I even think rerun is a personal trainer but I could be wrong.
