How would any of you experienced growers set up a small scale closet grow? Ive read all of these threads which was extremely helpful but it was a lot to take in. I will be moving into an apartment and I was think of setting up a small grow. I will have around $75-$100 to spend on this and I get the basic idea but I want your ideas on how to set it up.
$30 - 8 26watt (actual not equivalent) CFL's $10 - some pots to start in. eventually work up to almost a 5 gallon bucket $5 - A fan $5 - dirt $10 - Fertilizer $20 - extension cable, power strip, etc that should get you started. read around the forums to get an idea of what kinds of dirt and fert are available
pretty much right here. you prob have extra fans, power strips lying around, so you can save some money right there. i suggest you spend the money you save on the best lights as possible
whatupp i agree with acoustic. cfls are great and definitly will work but i would get some kind of hps. three reasons, one is its hid so it will penetrate to the lower bud sites, two its not too much outta ure budget i got a 70w hps for 70 bucks from home depot, three if ure successful your gonna want to upgrade anyway after your first grow,unless u planon doing just one and ure gonna want the hps anyway. i used cfl and when i got my mh and hps my yield went up and the buds just looked nicer. just my opinion tho like i said cfls work fine just follow a sticky on it
So I can get everything at Home Depot? Thats awesome cause I just got a job at The Mexican Work Agency and Im looking at a 10% discount. Free weed just became cheaper thanks guys
