How would you Cure your weed without Glass jars? So much Weed that there isnt money to drop on so many mason jars. ANy way to do so with bags or something?
build a humidor like a smoke shop/cigar. your room/box just needs to do a great job at controlling humidity lite and heat. so your talking a old fridg/freezer need more room build a walkin rent a refer trailer 28 45 48 53 feet . try and have some fun
How much are you talking about exactly? Wally world has giant mason jars that are about $10 each, and holds about 1/3 lb. If you're dealing with 3+ lbs then I don't see the big deal with dropping $100 on jars. But to each their own.

Then I would use the paper bag method. Paper bags for curing and plastic bags for storing are much cheaper than jars.
That is a DISGUSTING amount of bud. Sexy. I would imagine that any large, airtight container could be used for curing. If I were dealing with 50lbs of goodness, I would rig a couple of large glass pitchers to use as 'jars'.
Dude you dont even know how to grow, you have asked many noob questions in the past(nothing wrong with that at all)....Just because you are doing 30 plants does not mean you are getting 50 pounds.Many things can happen, the last thing I would be doing if I were you right now is thinking about harvesting some make believe number in your head......Just trying to help you out.I will be the first to say you will NOT get 50 pounds, even if you put out 100 plants. fuck this kid dude, go for it, although he is right, you wont get 50 lbs from 30 plants (thats over a lb per plant), plus 50lbs is ALOT of weed, Even 1lb is alot of weed, you can use it as a pillow to sleep on if its not compressed. You gotta think about where your gonna dry all that too. What if you get way more than anticipated, you wont know where to dry it all safely thus it might cost you having to toss some of it or giving it to a friend to dry but i wouldnt do that
There are quite a few types of sativas that will yield up to 10 pounds under optimal outdoor conditions. 50 pounds for 30 plants is not really that far fetched if he grows a big yielder.
dont over think it. you can easyly dry 10 lb in a smal closet 2.5x2.5x8 and then move to jars for cure.an old fridg works good thay dont need to work just cut holes for fans on timers. i dont pack tight about 1/2 lb per jar for cure. put add in craiglist for old none working fridg/freez for free. you can put a lot of jars back in a fridg for storage.
they actually make HUGE ass mason jars no shit. My mom as a 2.5 foot tall one I may have to get a pic since I can't fine ONE on the net anywhere. It's an antique I think. It's for sure old I know that. Heavy as fuck too!
wouldnt 10lbs stink up the whole house though? i had a little of an oz from a couple small autos not neccassaryily stink up my house but you could very faintly smell it when you walked in the front door, to the point where only someone who knows that smell could smell it
yes it can. and others on the block grow.the thing is if you grow you need to dry and cure.vent your dry room at nite.you would like how much weed you can put in a 25 cf fridg. just like a jar with a good door seal. easy to put a lock on hard to just walk off with
Gonna raise this one for the dead.. Here's what I did for my last outdoor grow. Cut plants down and hung from string under huge oak trees with all day shade. Harvest time here is no rain 90 degrees and 80-90% humidity. The humidity with temp will get u dry in about 5 days. Then I cut all the limbs off and place in a large Tupperware. The big ones like you store stuff in the 3x2x2 size. I bring that inside and daily flip the buds. You have to watch it to not let them get moldy. Maybe separate some sticking together. After a week just open the lid a couple of times daily. I cure like that for about a Week then start breaking down to move or cure in jars. It's not ideal but you can get a descent cure and have bud ready to sell in a couple of weeks.
You can get 50lbs off 30 plalnts if grown outdoor....I have some plants that's 7 feet 2 weeks in flower... Chernobyl..I'm getting 3 pounds off them each . my friend did last year grow...as well. Some strains grown outdoor in ground..will yield 4 pounds or less I've seen it done...and thanks for the info above..I will use the brown bag method for my outdoor harvest Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
