How would i go about making a vaporiser?

What, exactly, are you trying to get? A gas mask-like effect? You want to steam it into the air?

i dont hvae the tutorial, but i am actually inspired to make one right now. If i get real ambitious ill take pics! But for now here is the written.

You will need:
1 incandescent standard light bulb.
1 straw.
1 plastic bottle cap.

Take a cigarette and burn 2 holes in the bottle cap. Unscrew the base of the lightbulb and remove the innards, it should come off without much, try to turn it and break the glue. Place the weed in the bulb, place the cap in the bottom of the bulb. Place the whole straw to the bend in the first cigarette hole. Leave one open

be more resourceful for one. making a vaporizer is a slightly costly and advanced project. you'll need to think about things like heatsinks, possibly heating elements (heatgun), temperature control/management, and you'll need to learn the temperatures at which mary jane burns; and the temp. at which THC turns into a vapor. This is all elementary, and I was making pretty complicated and functional devices when I was merely a freshmen in highschool. Anyways, you should just burn it up in a nice bing. It's better that way.

 

Just use a car ciggarette lighter some wires and a battery... put it in a bottle and yeah... it works great... before I bought one I loved minw and it never needed much maitenence... if you would like I could post a pic, i am just to lazy to do such without reason.

 

whats this about a car ciggarete lighter ive heard that it is at like the perffect temperature for vaporizing but i dont get how to use the ciggarete lighter for it, please explain cause i do have a shitty little lightbulb vaporizer

 

you need to hook up the bettery to the stem of the ciggrette lighter and that heats it up...

first find a c-lite... like the one in your mother car...

you push the little bit on the bottom to push it up and a little element pokes out. This is the standard lighter as fitted to most cars... or it was...

I got a 12 Volt transformer which was used for my train set in my younger days. This is great because it has a variable power slider but you could always use a normal transformer and attach some sort of knob to regulate. At 12 Volts it's quite safe to play around with. (look at hobbie stores)

Okay now here is a picture of what it looks like with wires attached. I used 4 core telephone cable and just spun two pairs together so I had two outputs.

Note how the element bit is poking out. I did this by taping it poking out on the handle. + or - doesn't matter, just so long as you have one of each . The metal backing around the bottom must touch the wire. The element prong should be bent down and placed as close to the edge of the element as possible, with it still sticking it. Because you can't use solder or anything, this can be tricky. Make sure the wire is twisted and ready to insert. Push the elements aside and stick it in. When they go back into place, they trap the wire inside. I used 4 core wire so I was able to put one wire on each side of the element, better heat distribution... this way you can avoid waste due to cold spots.
(really small alagator clips would work as well I figure)

now for the chamber, i used a Mount Franklin water bottle which turned out perfect. It has a mouth-piece where the lighter fitted in perfectly. You tape it into place. with the wires dangling down through the mouthpiece

I then cut the top section from where the bottle starts to have straight sides. Next trim the edges so that the bottom (mouth end) fits inside the top.


Okay so you cut off the top bit which leaves you with:
1. a hole to suck through
2. wires hanging out the bottem to a transformer

Okay so there you have it. You place your pot (only a small mount, finely chopped so that allthe pot is in contact with the element) and turn on the voltage. You know it's hot enough when a pure white smoke comes out of the pot in a thin stream. If it starts burning, wait 'till it goes out and try again.

 

the light bulb vap works great. just take your time with it and she'll come out nice. try to find a lightbulb that does not have frosted glass.

 

try it with some bud bro! ive been wantiong to make it from that video for about 3 weeks, but i dont have the balls to try and build it if it sucks.
