how valid is this theory?

  1. so when im baked i like to just chill think and relax. the other day i was so baked i managed to come up with this out of this world theory that even now when im sober seems pretty legit so i decided to share it with yall and see what yall think.

my theory is that the government is using celebrities to promote pro marijuana messages thru songs. Thus the younger generation in the us will be more prone to smoke and accept marijuana into everyday life. By doing this the government is setting up a market for weed so that when america does legalize it and start taxing it weed is going to be such a norm in our everyday lives that the government is gonna make big bank off our usage. For example all rappers rap about now a days is weed weed weed and more weed a little more than usual. The younger kids in america are easily influenced so they start getting us at a young age, which is one of the oldest marketing tricks in the books.

alright i know theres tons of flaws and holes in the my theory but you cant lie it kinda makes sense :D or i was just stoned out of my mind haha

  2. I dont think wiz khalifa got shit to do with politics...

  3. I doubt that the gov is taking a direct hand in it. Pro-legalization people and organizations on the other hand, that's a horse of a different color. And it's not just in music, look at some of the recent movies and TV shows. Pineapple Express and That '70s Show are prime examples.

  4. Remotely valid.

  5. Not even remotely valid. Weed has been interlaced with music for years, man.

  6. seems possible, but not very realistic. I think it would have happened by now to be honest

idk man the government are some pretty shiesty dudes
i mean they did release the aids virus to 40000 people whos to say they arent using celebrities as pawns?

  8. It sounds interesting and can't be disproved. However people like Louis "muggles" Armstrong and the like were singing about marijuana before it was illegal and soon after.

  9. Uhh nah... It sounds very legit but, they make more money from it being illegal. Not that they make more money from fines or whatever. But hemp is too useful of a resource and would put numerous industries outta business. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, a second opinion would be nice.

  10. I heard that it was actually the cotton industry who pushed for the outlawing of pot exactly for that reason, 88 Others.

  11. fuck the tv, radio, everything, fuck the government!

  12. Just like my weird theory about how cigarettes are being sold for population control. Same as fast food and everything else that people do that is bad lol.

  13. i like your style!!!

  14. Completely Invalid.

  15. I don't think the government is "using" celebrities in any way.

However, I do believe that our government realizes the potential of the marijuana industry and will soon give in to it's legalization.
The fact that the younger generations are in acceptance of the legalization of pot will only be helpful towards it's future place in our economy.

The legalization of marijuana for recreational use as well as industrial use would be the beginning to a multimillion dollar industry.
I believe the government will soon realize this and thus, I believe the government will actually be in favor of marijuana's legalization in our near future.

  16. I had an English professor who once said that the Lottery was created by the government to keep the poor people poor. They're the ones who would spend all their money buying the dream of getting rich, while the rich people wouldn't waste their money on something they already have.

While the logic is sound, I still doubt it.

  17. its more complicated than that

who pays the muscians? who decides what the musicians do?

ultimatly its a circle of power. when you become a music idol, the last thing you sing is what you want to sing about. unless you want to sing what they tell you. then good for you

  18. Right now a lot of the states are legalizing casinos in an attempt to create revenue. Marijuana should be the next thing on the list.

  19. yes i think the government is not the enemy here.

the enemy is the monopoly guy. every time some young idealist manages to get into the government, he gets bought off by more money than he can count, or outvoted by the ones that did.

thats how our government works. the rich tell congress how to vote, and they use their money to campaign those people.

basically the monopoly guy tells us who to vote for and we do it because we dont even know there are other candidates. then they pass laws that help them stay rich

  20. my point exactly man:smoke:
