Read up. I dont plant clones until I see roots.
Many many books on growing.
Read, read ,read.

I see 2 mistakes already.
1, never put plants in clear containers. Roots dont like light.
2, dont keep the roots under water. They will drown.

 

The plant will pretty much take care of itself provided you give it good soil, good light and clean water.
Are you going to grow indoors or outdoors?

 

Recommend Fox Farms Ocean Forrest.
Light is very important.
You need to give it minimum 18 hours of light until its established.
Too much info is needed to explain lighting. Too many variables.
When the plant is ready to go outside you will probably need to give it supplemental light to keep it from flowering prematurely.
Once again, I'd pretty much have to write a book to explain the what and why.
So I've got to say, read up. Study hard.

You bought a plant without knowing anything about growing or what grow method you plan on using? That's like putting the cart before the horse. Good luck to you.

 

Alright so just go on ebay and you will need...


A small tent 50cm x 50cm x 100cm height

A light... get a 300w duel spectrum cfl with the ballast reflector as you are a beginner

Get a good soil like fox farms depending what country you live in. Then just stick to giving her a bit of water every 3 or 4 days.

When you start growing make a grow journal thread on here saying it's your first time and post pics daily or weekly etc etc etc.....

Just like normal gardening to be honest. I know some people from the city have never gardened or farmed before but it's exactly same thing.

You can put the cutting strait into the soil and water it a tiny bit like 100ml of water a day and spread the water across the top of the soil don't spray it and as it's your first grow you don't need to use any nutrients just a little water will be enough if yu use a nice soil.

Here these are the 4 main things

Tent light and fan. Definitely get that light it's a very good beginner light as it will take you from vegging all the way to growing bud. And for the light schedule you will want the fan and light turned on 24/0 for the first 5 or 6 weeks then after about 6 weeks of it n 24 hours a day change it to 12 hours a day for the light but you still want the fan on 24 hours a day to stop mould.

I recommend canna as it comes with a grow chart and if you feel confident you could buy the nutrients range and canna even gives you a chart to follow so it tells you everything to do and they make it so easy...

Yhyh there's a grow store by me these things have opened up everywhere.

All you want from the grow store then is the light..soil...tent..maybe nutrition if ya felt confident enough because I've seen people use it wrong and mess up the plant. You could tell the guy down the shop and he'll have some advice too probably. For the tent though you wanna go small just enough got 1 plant and a 300w duel spectrum cfl.

For the fan though I would get a bathroom extraction kit from the local did store for now but trust me any fan is good and it will keep all the mould out and the air fresh.
