Boiling it in water usually does the trick

Boiling it works pretty good but you won't get sick again right away with the same virus.

 

Put your flame to the mouthpiece for 7 seconds before using again. Don't burn your lips

 

Boil it. This will Soften up all the hard substances stuck to the glass
Shake the pipe in a bag of alcohol and salt
This will clean it
Next I wash the pipe with dishsoap and rince it out with water
