i have ran bho 5 times every time the same till the vac stage each time i have vac at different temps & hg . so far i have found best product at 28.5 inch Hg in 110f water bath , with an inside chamber temp between 85f -90f , and then flipping it at ever3 hrs for a total of 9 hrs ........ am i doing this right ? ill post picks tonight when i get home
need to go longer than 9hr. read through the BHO threads in the harvesting and processing subforum, you'll need all that info thats there. You sound like you're on the right track so far.

how long do you leave it in vac at a time ? how long do you vac total time ? i've steped mine up to 24hr ,with a flip every 3 and product looks way better . im takin it to 36hrs now & then ill try it
so i tried the last pic after 48 hrs in vac. it still had some bubbles and was butane tangy , would 72hrs be enough or do i have to keep going? so i guess what im realy asking is how will i know its done?
I think your problem is your setup. A proper vacuum would get to - 29.9in Hg. There is a chart that shows the evaporation point of thc at different vacuum pressures. As the vacuum gets closer and closer to a "full vacuum" , the boiling point gets lower. This happens to the bho and the butane, meaning the butane is gonna boil off faster.
mine will tak it and hold at 30 in hg , but i was under the impresion that if i took it past 29 inhg at 100f i would start to lose thc from the product
I just know that butane isn't really good to fuck around without purging 99.9%, you're poisoning yourself. So if it still tastes like tane I suggest longer purge or just use rosin tech,only takes like 5 minutes
