How To Tell The Difference Between Headdies And Mids?

    So, I've been smoking alot lately, and yesterday my friend came over to smoke a bowl and chillum with me. She took on look at the bud I had left and said it was Mids. Can you guys explain to me what the difference is? I've had mids, and I know that they don't taste as good, nor is the high as intense. Appearance wise, is there any way to tell the difference? Thanks in advance.

    the amount of trichomes, smell, and potency. headies will be stronger, look frosty, and smell danker.

    It could be many things that knocks a nug down in my book :
    -overall color (I used to get some brown brick nasty)
    -trichromes (the amount of visible crystals)
    -how it was contained (smushed/crumpled/packed together or in a bag vs. nice jar)
    -how it was trimmed (buds shouldn't have much leaf)
    -how "stemmy" it is; how much stem is there vs. bud
    -seeds from accidents growing (I've had some good bud with a seed in it, but nobody likes picking through armies of seeds to get to good stuff separate)
    -how it smells in the bag/jar, and when being broken up and ground.
    -how it tastes when smoked/vaped
    -If it was a tested strain statistics will come into play; actual THC,CBD,ect. counts.
    -overall high it gives you personally
     
     
     
     
    But if it does the job... why knock it? Never critique too much or you'll never enjoy yourself.

    If you've smoked dank before then you just know when some bud isn't quality. You just know. Usually first giveaway is the smell followed by a less than desirable appearance usually.
