    this is an interview with Curren$y, an upcoming rapper from New Orleans. Talking about coming up in an atmosphere where most rap sucks, which is obvious.

    The bit about "doing you" has had a huge impact on me.. it applies to all professions/careers, and just about everything.

    curren$y's the real deal. I listen to good hip-hop; Mos Def, Talib Kweli, MF DOOM, Nas, Lupe, KiD CuDi, Wu Tang, Pac, etc. and curren$y is slowly but surely making his way up there.

    it's a breath of fresh air to see any real rappers bring new shit to the table while remaining true to themselves and what they believe in.

    also i know its been posted a few places on here but this is a sick intro to his flow.

  5. The real issue at hand is... how can you put kid cudi with mos def, talib kweli, nas , wu tang, and tupac?
     
  6. i gots mad respect for kid cudi... Man on the Moon was amazing. i love his vibes, no homo.

    he puts all his shit on the table, reminds me of eminem. not afraid to bring up anything in his song.

  8. As for currensy, first song i heard was credit, someone posted it on here. now hes one of my favorite rappers.
