Drop it on some bud packed in a bowl. Use a paperclip or needle, get a ball of it on the end. Once you have oil on your paperclip, there is a great technique to get it off well: Apply a flame to the paperclip, as close as possible to the oil, though without touching or burning it. The paperclip will heat up and the oil will melt right off, be sure to aim it well, i've wasted drips of oil before.
what I do is mush it into a little circular disc and place it over a bowl of greens, when you introduce the flame it will bubble and melt onto the buds.
