Pipes generally save more weed than joints because of the less amount. You pack as much as you want it to have, if I were you I'd start out small and if it's not enough pack another small bowl.
Just fill the bowl with a decent amount. Like .2/.3 then light & inhale. Assuming your new to smoking, one bowl should be plenty. Happy Tokes, Friend.
If you look on the side of the link they sell kits with screens, which leads me to believe the intake hole is pretty big if it needs a screen, so either get some tin foil or leave pretty large chunks of bud so you don't suck down weed with your smoke... I have had that happen... terrible experience.
