So as long as it's cotton, you can shrink it. 1. Wash the t-shirt in very hot water, and be sure to use a color-safe detergent to help preserve the colors in the shirt and to protect any graphics. 2. Place the t-shirt in a dryer on high heat, and remove the shirt when it's just barely dry. Don't allow the shirt to get bone dry. 3. Put some water in an iron, and iron the shirt carefully on a warm steam setting. The steam will promote additional shrinkage.
