so you guys know the us and european governments are dealing with a lot of debt. and both governments' problems are similar, too much spending on medical and social security expenses. (aging and declining population in europe, aging baby boomers in america). the solutions people have for this problem are either to : a. raise tax or b. cut spending neither of these options are attractive. what if instead of changing anything we just got rid of all the old people? we can easily have a much lower health care expenses and have more people contributing wealth to society instead of many people sucking the wealth out of society and putting nothing back in. we can make it so you work until your productivity is significantly lower then voluntarily sacrifice yourself for the good of the world. this kind of seems fucked up but i think that's just because we are programmed to think its wrong to kill old people by old people (obviously they dont want us to kill them, so they brainwash us) from a moral perspective i think it would be incorrect to allow people to live after they are not useful anymore because that is just a burden on younger generations. and its not like everyone dies at 75 or whatever, we can make it so if you are still good then you have the right to live.

the only reason someone would not accept that idea is because they are already biased by their experiences. like imagine if you were an alien race, and you stumbled upon a species that sacrifice their old and useless people so they can focus more on moving forward? would they think what they are doing is wrong to investing in the future instead of the past?

Shit, I am almost that old. This is not good. I think getting rid of old people is pretty antithetical to reducing the debt, wouldn't you? I mean, they aren't just going to off themselves.
i mean that you are brought up to believe that killing old people is wrong. where that belief is an illusion created by old people to preserve themselves. they are weaker, less intelligent, and less innovative- why should they be such a huge cost to society? i would kill them in the most humane and most effective way possible.

so what about the old people that aren't sucking the money out of the system? There are old people that are quite contributive to society. ps. how many old people do you know who would "voluntarily" kill themselves?
like i said in the first post the ones that work and pay for themselves can live as long as they want. voluntarily should be like a phase where you can kill yourself but at a certain cutoff where you are so old and useless it is mandatory for you to die.
