How to quit smoking

  1. I've been smoking everyday for more then 2 years now. I love bud, and want nothing more then to keep toking.. BUT my problem is that my appetite is fucked up. I can't eat anymore properly, actually I can barely eat at all without being high. I need to take a loonnng t-break, I'm guessing around a month. What's the best way to do this? Smoke less & less, or just stop today. I love being blazed & it's going to really suck not being able to get high. I know I need a break also because I clearly smoke too much ^^
     
  2. Just stop.

    The first day after no bud, you'll probably be somewhat cranky; but after that it's pretty easy.

    It also helps being broke, that way there is no temptation to go and pick up.
     
  3. Yea really just stop i know it may seem hard but its really up to you. i went on vacation recently and i had been smoking alot and i had no problem stopping (albeit copping some hash in my destination; different story)
     
  4. Instead of immediately taking a month off, just cut it back slowly. Lot of people don't stick with that method, because for a lot it's setting themselves up for failure. Just take 1 day off, smoke the next. Then two days off, smoke the next. 3 days off..etc...etc. or any type of method that tapers you down do where you want to be...to get back to your normal routine. Besides, the highs will be better. And you'll feel more in contol.

    Dude seriously?!?!?!? That's pathetic, you need help quitting weed give me a break. It's people like you that make us all look like junkies. It's not even hard just don't fucking do it. I've been on a two and a half month t-break and it wasn't even hard! Oh my fucking god!

    You need to relax, there's nowhere in my post that I made myself out to look anything like a junkie.
     
  7. Quitting weed is only hard if you make it hard.
    Use some self control; and just dont smoke, its really that simple haha
    Give yourself a set day when you can smoke again, say 2 weeks from now; hide away all your paraphernalia, and just don't let the urge to smoke get to you.

    At this moment I haven't smoked in over 7 months, probation - long story; but it honestly hasn't been much of a challenge at all and believe me I was just like you, smoking every day for years and years, its a trip to go from having something as your daily routine to being almost nonexistent in your life, but you can learn a lot from it and you'll only make your own willpower stronger by committing to it and pushing through.

  9. dude get off your pedestal and pull your head out of your ass; everybodys mind works differently and just because you can do it easily doesn't mean everybody can. talking down on him and insulting the guy isn't going to help him at all and if anything you're the person making weed smokers look bad by being a complete fucking tool
