How to proceed from here.

  1. My og kush 2-3 wks into flowering. I ran out of pots so just planted directly into my garden and let it go. Not feeding until approximately 2wks ago using happy frog fruit and flower and compost tea. I figured wouldn’t hurt and things have gone fine. Anything I should be doing differently I’ve never grown directly in ground and afraid I’m missing something.

  2. That is a beautiful plant, BUT.........
Here's what I've learned as an outdoor grower through the years. I started in ground and just let my plants go. I had a couple 12 footers at one time and several over 10 feet tall. When you have plants of this height, your quality suffers because your lower and middle buds will be decent at best, whereas your top nugs (obviously those closest to the sun) will be great quality.
After a couple years of growing this way, I decided to start growing them in 10 gallon pots and top them when they get to the 4th or 5th node. In the end, you will have a plant that is maybe 3 or 4 feet tall, but loaded with good quality buds because Mother Nature can now get in there with her sun because you have created space between the colas with the topping process. This is a picture of my current Blue Dream plant. She's about 5 weeks into flower now, but you can really see the difference. Good luck!!

Shit......GSC is not letting me load a pic at the moment, but hopefully you get the idea LOL.

  3. Thanks for your advice. Makes sense I do regret not removing more of the lower.
