Don't do drugs for 2-3 weeks and you'll be clean as a whistle friend! Take care No but for real, dont go to MEPS if you aren't going to pass the drug test. Even if you have a date to be there and everything, your recruiter will be mad you jerked him around, but just trust me.. do not go there if you aren't sure that you will pass. You will never be allowed to join the military if you fail that test. TBH, if your recruiter hasn't already issued you a private in office piss test to ensure you are clear, FOR HIS OWN SAKE, then he is setting himself up for this situation. But either way.. just do not go. Tell him you're going to piss hot if hes that upset about you not going for whatever day you have set up... he will push your date back and work with you a bit to help you not fuck this up for the both of you.
yeah schedule your MEPS date for when you know you're clean!! If your recruiter doesn't know about your situation.....tell him.....TRUST ME....they understand. They want you to pass MORE than you do....cuz they need to quota. What branch??
As a navy vet i also recommend putting off meps for 3 or 4 weeks to get clean. You dont want that on your permanent record.
I mean there are people out there that swear that "this" works or "that" works.....but with something so important i just wouldn't risk it! I'm a Marine Corps Vet and we always need rides....so we NEEED the Navy! Just kiddin yall.. . To the OP: I am suuure you are eager to "get in there" and get started.....but this is a HUGE....life-changing journey you are....or are not about to go on.....please wait if you really want this.
You can’t use anything they watch you pull your cock out and piss , this is the easiest part of MEPS I’m in the DEP for the USMC and here’s my story, Once my parents split when I was 16 I picked up the bad habit of smoking cannabis everyday it eventually got to where I would dab about 1/4 a gram through the day, when I was 19 I decided to start talking to a recruiter got to the point where they wanted to send me to MEPS so I could oath In, I have told them and filled out a ton of paper work that I’ve been 100% drug free my whole life to my knowledge now when my recruiter told me when they would be sending me to MEPS I looked up if they would drug test and everybody had said they send the piss to a lab so it’s a better test then the Walgreens test, in my mind I knew I had to start getting clean yesterday. Not today. Not tomorrow. Yesterday. The next week was hard but i knew stopping a bad habit is going to be nothing like what I’m signing myself up for, I eventually told my recruiter I had the flu and spared 2 weeks even tho that wasn’t enough time I eventually said fuck it went in and came clean ( if your recruiter isn’t a piece of shit he'll drug test you before sending you to MEPS ) when I got to the office he handed me the cup and I got busy, he told me to peel the sticker off the side and then he asked me “so be honest when’s the last time you smoked” and I told him about 2 1/2 weeks ago and then I came clean that my dads friend was disqualified for the job he wanted because he told them he smoked weed once, I also said I wasn’t there to pull a fast one on the Marines or to waste his time or my time I am 100% about the Marines and he complete understood where I came from, he asked me to wait 15 days and come back I was clean as a whistle he put in the 48 hour notice to MEPS and I passed everything with flying colors good luck to you and just talk to your recruiter most of them aren’t pieces of shit and want to see you succeed in whatever branch you're wanting to join.
