How to judge the end?

  1. Rolling into week 12 flower, I can see the plant pulling mutes from the leaves. We stopped feeding halfway through week eleven. Just been giving Ph'd water and mollases and planned to just do water through this week.

Will all the hairs turn to orange? I have a microscope ordered just waiting for Amazon to deliver. As far as I can tell with hand held magnifying glass the trics still look clear but then again look cloudy. Can't really see them. Still have some white hairs on the bud, some plants are more orange than others, but that could just be strain type right? As these are all bag seeds.

Any insight would be much appreciated. :)

  2. I would rather trust what the trichs tells me rather than what the pistils tell me when it comes down to when is the proper time to chop her down. She does look close to harvest though. If you want to include the pistils in telling when to harvest, then best way to tell is when they're mostly amber and are curling down into the bud, rather than sticking straight out. New white pistils will keep coming out in many strains, which is why I don't recommend trusting the pistils too much. Go by the trichs. Once you get that microscope you ordered use it to carefully check the trichs and compare them to the chart below. Nice plants btw.
