i just bought an 400w hps. its a real generic version comes with zero instructions lol. anyone know hoe to mount it and hang it. its the one on ebay for cheap
stay away from yo-yo's.. Heard they can heat-up and drop the light, possibly starting fire. For that reason hang your light with something durable, alot of people use dog-chain as it wont rot, stretch, react to UV.. make sure you secure it to the celling/wall with a stud and a strong bolt/screw... making sure your light wont cause a fire is every reason to over-engineer your hanging solution. You got a hood right? Never hang a bulb by its self from the cord, you need a fixture for it to go into.
Yeah, chain is cheap, strong, and easy to adjust. Get it cut to length at Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, etc. Then you'll also need an assortment of eye hooks, cup hooks, S hooks, etc., whatever you find works best.
