Hello GCers, I have a custom soil mix of Fox Farm Ocean Forest, Roots coir mix, and Promix BX (peat based with some nutes and dolomite lime among other things). It's only been getting 6.5 Ph water but I noticed the runoff has been rising over the grow cycle. Now it's at a whopping 7.4. I've watered the plant with Ph 3 - 4 water every other day for a week and it never goes down. Does anyone know what could be causing this (the dolomite lime?) and any tips on getting the soil back down to 6.5?
I would flush her. I've never used lime, but I'm sure something is keeping the PH that high. Water 3x the size of your pot with regular PHed water.
