Discussion in 'General' started by XSN, Dec 12, 2006.

  1. Well i ran out of q-tips for a while so i got some pretty nasty earwax built up

Its definatly not comin out with a swab and its too built up to use one of those little spoon things the doctor has

    Can anybody help me out

  2. eww:(

  3. That is pretty fucking grimmy bro, i dont no goto the doctor i guess man

  4. Uh...I wouldn't use q-tips; that will just push it further in.

Go to the doctors' and try and pick up some 'ear drops' or something?

  5. Q tips are the worst thing to use, and should never be put into the ear canal; not only does it make the wax problem worse, you can perforate ear drums if you accidentally push too deep....

Can you buy this over there?:

If not, see your GP about having them syringed.

  6. if your ears clogged go to the doc and have em shoot some high powered warm water in your ear and you'll be amazed at the shit that comes out.......

  7. I remember my gramma putting a little drop of pyroxide in my ear and it would clear the ear wax right up.

  8. i use q-tips every morning.

feels ridiculously good right after you get out of the shower.

my morning wouldn't be complete without it.

    my advice: get some q-tips

  9. That shit happened to me a few months ago. The wax built up so much and sank so far down, I was half-deaf in one ear. Went to the doc, gave me a syringe and some ear drops to moisten the wax.

Q-tips work somewhat...but they still push the wax further down out of the reach of the q-tip too. That's what happened with me.

  10. there are these one thigns that are like a candle that create a suction on your ear, and pull out the ear wax doesnt hurt at all, gets a lot of shit out

    google it or something

  11. You refer to hopi candles, I think:

Best to get this done by a professional Chinese practitioner, though, than to risk singing your ear hair...

  12. as mentioned, you can find the ear candles at health food stores. i've used them before. it may have gotten a lot of stuff out, there was a lot of buildup inside the candle afterward, but i haven't tested it to see if that's just the candle wax. you won't burn yourself with them. just stick it horizontally into your ear to try it. i think it softened up my wax more and made it easier for SOMEONE ELSE to go in very carefully with tweezers and pull wax out. don't do that yourself...seriously.

i've had the same problem and my doctor prescribed me murine drops (they are over the counter now, apparently) http://www.amazon.com/Murine-Ear-Wa...pd_bbs_sr_6/102-0733802-1135339?ie=UTF8&s=hpc

    they work pretty well.

  13. yeah by "nasty buildup" i didnt mean that it was like spewing out of my ears or anything

    thanks for the help
