How to get better stoned dreams!

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Coldgreenetea, Jan 26, 2010.

  1. Ok, so my primary use for cannabis is to sleep. I need it. simple as that. Soo, I was thinking, I always have weird dreams when i sleep high, but how could I make it better? So I thought about smoking weed, smoking a cig then going to sleep. The thing is...is that I will go to sleep fine, but I might get a better sleep with a cig...idk im just really high.:smoke:

  2. That's odd, most people don't remember dreams at all when they go to sleep high. I know I don't.

If you want to have better dreams, look into learning lucid dreaming. If you can do that, you can do whatever the fuck you want in dreamland. I want to do it but school fucks my sleep up.

  3. Idk I was hopin' someone had an answer to this as well. Last night I went to sleep buzzin and ended up having the weirdest dream that left me  afterwards.

  4. I dont have dreams when I smoke. I stay way from those cig especially if your a insomic (like me) cigs can and will keep you awake.

  5. i dream wierd and wake up a lot when I smoke before bed (i got chronic insomnia)

but that might have something to do with klonopin i take also

  6. I had a dream when I was blazed before it was maddddd! I spawned in a fat spliff and some KFC and it tasted real it was amazing!

  7. Melatonin is your best friend for dreaming. When I want to have crazy dreams, I set an alarm for the middle of the night. Then I take a caffeine supplement (a can of coke or dew works too), then take some melatonin and go back to sleep. Do't do this if you have to be alert in the morning, cause it always leaves me super tired and groggy since theres still a lot of melatonin in my system when I wake up.

  8. Been a serious stoner for awhile and I never really remembered dreams. Now I've been practically clean and I've been having some crazy ass dreamz.

  9. smoke wax. I've been dreaming more since I started smoking wax

I use strong Indica strains for my insomnia too. Maybe take some melatonin tablets to help your sleep cycle after you smoke your indica. Melatonin is a natural hormone your body makes itself but a decent dosage is completely safe and my actually treat your sleep disturbances. Melatonin makes you sleepy alone so if you smoke indica and take it after, you'll be very sleepy but you'll have a nice sleep cycle that keeps you asleep. It also may prevent nightmares or wierd disturbed dreams. Melatonin is the hormone in your body that actually creates dreams!

  11. If you want some nice trippy dreams, try a nicotine patch before bed (since you're a smoker anyways). It can even be used to trigger lucid dreams.  Nicotine acts as an acetylcholine agonist (which means it essentially acts he same as acetylcholine). Acetylcholine is the neurotransmitter in the brain related to REM sleep and dreaming. Higher amounts of acetylcholine in your brain not only makes your dreams trippier but also increases the chances of having a lucid dreaming.

This is true.  Cannabis use is known to reduce REM sleep, or at least the memories of it.  Habitual use generally leads to fewer memorable dreams.
