How to fix a broken glass slider

    I was dumping out the bong water and my glass slider came out and hit the sink. The end tip(where it sits in the bong water)broke off. So it's in 2 pieces. Can I just super glue it? What should I use?

    Just buy a new downstem?

    I want to fix it ASAP and I don't have the money too

    smoke a joint and wait till you get a new downstem
    no reason to ruin your lungs just cause your despite
    if you really want to fix it get it re welded by a glass blower or use aquarium glue
    both will cost the same as a new downstem

    I gorilla glued it and its 100% water proff. So you think it'll be bad on my lungs? How do you find a new slider that fits it?

    is gorilla glue suitable for aquariums?
    if so then you can stop sketching out
    but if it dosent mention aquariums anywhere on the tube then i would be sketching out
    its just that heat can bring out harmful chemicals that you dont want to inhale
    im just referring to the precautions i take with my bearded dragon

    what fitting do you have on your piece?
    go onto GC store, they will have 14,18 and 24 i think
    posting a picture of the fittings will get you a solid answer

    89Gilbert: thanks a lot! And I thought of the heat problem but since where the glue is I don't think it'll be a problem. Since its at the bottom I don't think it's gunna get hot.

    post pics of those fittings and either I or someone else will tell you the sizing
