bongs are water pipes and that's from my experience all you really need to know

Everything is for tobacco, bongs are water pipes, and grinders don't have kief catchers, they have pollen catchers.

Just don't use any words associated with weed. You can call them waterpipes to be safe, but I call them bongs in my store all the time. Just be chill about everything you do and you will be fine.

 

its funny at the headshop i went to, the guy was wearing a fat weed shirt, they sold books called DANK, with pictures of like insane dank, how to grow books, how to bake weed. ALL this weed related stuff. and the guy mentioned weed like 30 times hhaha

 

Like any place, just be cool; don't act all sketchy, and don't talk about weed.

A lot of smoking shops will have a sign up saying "all pipes are for tobacco only" or "we sell only bubblers, bongs are illegal for sale in this state" or something like that. Just remember that MJ is illegal, and they're trying to run a business that skirts this.

All in all, its no different from going into any other store.

 

Just don't act sketchy or mention marijuana.

AND BE FRIENDS WITH YOUR LOCAL SMOKESHOP CASHIER HE MAY EVEN GIVE YOU DISCOUNTS OR SELL YOU SOMETHING.

 

i was in my local shop one time and some kids were "buzzed" in when they were dumbasses and couldt get the door open. Sometimes it will be locked and you knock and they buzz u in. Its a door, its simple dont b stupid if they have this feature. like they said waterpipe, pollen catcher pollen press, and dont if you go to get a pipe or somethin do NOT do this "Idiot walks in...probably like 14 or somethin anyway, asks to see a pipe and actually pretends to hit it and put it in his mouth. He didnt buy that pipe and now no one else wants to..." that little fayg SOB. Im suprised they didnt make the kid buy it for contaminating it.

 

oh and i dunno how urs is...but if the case is open..you dont dare touch or pick shit up...they will hand it to you and assist you...you do not work there do not reach in a case

Wow. Every head shop I've been to would be all over you, hounding you for money if you touched a piece to your lips. Must have been some chill people working.

 

lol the first time i went to a headshop this guy was weighing out some spice or some legal herb and a person asked what is was and he said "This is cocaine in the form of incense."

 

i would never buy a pipe without trying to hit it first. You've never shared weed with anyone? How is this different?

 

i was jsut at my local headshop.tottally cool,never been in one.and im not usually one to be a smooth type person.it was all fine,dont talk about weed.and like when i asked for a pipe,he said you can touch it,hold it hold it to your lips.so if they dont tell you what you can do with it.......ask.its not the first time someone has asked what they can and cannot do with the stuff

 

It's different because the guy that tried the pipe out before you has aids. Duh.

 

I'd hope if someone has AIDs they wouldn't slobber all over a piece in a store unless they do plan on buying it, just would seem like the polite thing to do in that case. And I'm with the guy that said he wouldn't buy a piece without trying it first. Just dry your lips out some and don't stick the damn thing into your mouth and slobber on it.

As for the overall topic of the thread, just do what everyone else said, don't talk about anything thats illegal and you'll be good. And don't be nervous unless your underage and shouldn't be there in the first place. Just remember that the people behind the counter are generally real chill, relaxed people that want you to buy their stuff, so they'll try to be nice to you like any salesman should be.

 

No cellphones out, dont talk too much and definitely dont mention bong, pot, weed or anything about it. if you want to look at something call it a piece

Do not touch or fondle other customers
Keep farting to a minimum
Do not shit in the store
