I live where it's always hot, winters are min 45-50F summers 90+. The attic seems to be the best option and I need some help keeping the temps down to a manageable state. From what I've researched, 75-82 seems to be about the best temps for indoor setups. Would a grow tent with an a/c unit be enough for 4 plants in scrog with a blackstar 240w led for flowering? Any advice would be great. Thanks
I also grow in an attic, and the best advice I can give is to just not even try in the summer. Attics can reach like 120 degrees in the summer heat, and sun. However the attic is awesome to grow in in the summer. If you really want to try it a tent will not be insulated enough to keep it much cooler than the rest of the attic. If you build yourself a room , and insulate it you will have much better luck. My main problem is I have no where to put ac in my attic. if youdo have a spot for an ac unit maybe give it a try.
