How to breath out and in through nose?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Xch4ng3, Mar 15, 2012.

  1. I want to know what its called when you breathe out through your mouth and in through your nose and how to do it! Thanks! :)

  2. It's called a French Inhale. (;

  3. It's called a french inhale and well... you breath out through your mouth and in through your nose haha. Seems like you already covered the instructions. To add a bit more detail, I don't really breathe out of my mouth but breathe in deeply through my nose while the smoke casually seeps out on its own. Really isn't much to it, just practice it.

  4. thanks!

  5. Why would you do it ?

  6. why not? lol

  7. I was wandering if there was a reason behind it. But fair enough :smoke:

  8. This.

    It can be harsh on the throat though.

  9. Its probly been said but i havent read it, but all u gotta do is pull a fat mouthfull of smoke, and just open ur mouth and let it seep out, and breathe inthrough ur nose at the same time. Though i dont like breathing smoke in- out of my nose, i stopped it a while ago because it tastes better and feels better on my throat lol

  10. Hahaha I thought this guy was talking about the Circular breathing technique for playing the didgeridoo and whatnot but yeah it's just a french inhale. Personally I don't like it as much, I usually just push the smoke out of my mouth and inhale it back into my mouth.

  11. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but the times I attempted a french inhale it burned like hell! I'd never do it again.

  12. I tried to do it but failed, it seems I can't inhale through my nose without all the smoke going into my mouth :(

  13. Trick is to really take your time with it and let it flow out your mouth slowly by using your tongue and slowly breathing it in to give that milky effect.

  14. every time I try to smoke through my nose it hurts, and gives me a runny nose.

  15. French inhale.
    Suck the smoke into your mouth but don't inhale it into your lungs. Just keep it the smoke in your mouth and then quickly push it out with your tongue (you aren't actually blowing it out, just maneuvering the smoke with your tongue). While you push the smoke out with your tongue, inhale through your nose. It takes practice, but it's pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

    Also, I saw someone asked what the purpose of a French inhale is... I think it's mostly because it looks cool, you can impress your friends, and it gives the smoke a chance to cool and expand.
