I have gotten this down to a science. Feel free to provide suggestions for how to achieve the perfect balance of stoner/pothead/laziness using frugal tactics mastered by an accomplished college educated (and graduated) stoner I'm a blunt smoker by the way...I own bowls but I prefer to smoke a blunt, even a small joint sized one over a bowl. I know it doesnt sound economical, but just look at this: 1. Find a good grinder that you like which has a keef catcher at the bottom. Keef is such a great substitute when you're desperate/dont have money/cant find any bud/etc. -When times are really tough you can scrape out different parts of the grinder as well, such as the lid and the spikes/nub things inside of your grinder 2. Save EVERY roach. That is probably my most economical habit. When the weed bag is empty and there's nowhere to purchase more, break open the roaches. Hell, even roll up a blunt with them if you let them for a while. 3. Since I roll small blunts sometimes, I have extra pieces that I rip off of the blunt that i am rolling. I save those in a little baggy for when I dont feel like driving to the gas station to get a blunt or if i see cops at the gas station and cant go haha. Save those and use them to make frankenstein blunts! 4. Combine # 2 & 3 and roll a generation frankenstein blunt. A roach blunt rolled together with the extra pieces from blunts past. haha its very rewarding and seemingly free! 5. Save your stems. They don't have much thc in them, but if you're desperate or just in the moood, brew some tea with them! I hope this helps someone out there! It helps me a lot. enjoy!

Economical? Man if you're smoking joints/blunts, you're not as economical as you can really be with your bud IMO....

But if you can dab and be sure to allow all that smoke into your lungs, Dab!
But seriously, to be efficient I use my bong and choke out the burning ember but putting my hand over the bowl, sometimes warms up the hand a little, but NO smoke escapes around me. Ill vacuum the air with my mouth if I have to. Haha. But really really, just vaporizer, and smoke the ABV at night. That's a huge saver.

Solid advice, but if you have the money, investing in a quality vaporizer would achieve a greater efficiency than solo blunts. Don't get me wrong blunts are great, but if you think of all the smoke that burns off the end it's just never going to be the most efficient way to smoke.
My advice for you would be to get a oz and only roll .5 blunts. you could smoke 2 blunts a day for a month
I've got an AWESOME grinder. But it doesn't have a screen, I got it before I really knew about that. I do wanna get a new one with a screen but find the cheap ones are naff and the ones that compare to mine with a screen are mega expensive...sucks.
I just prefer blunts. Bowls and bongs and all that get me high, but i just like blunts better. Especially after working all day. A solo blunt is my me time haha
Most economical way to smoke weed is a waterfall bong hands down. It takes a good 5x less weed than joints or blunts.
